Cooking up another round of tasteful iterations with South Korean label thisisneverthat, New Balance continues to deliver a new leash of life to its heritage inspired running silos. Integrating the brand’s commitment to performance with a touch of East Asian street style.
This dual shoe collaboration now turns its attention to the lauded 2002 and 1906 models – injecting that extra hint of running nostalgia with each step as this latest revamp promises to keep that much-loved greyscale design on our shelves this season.
Echoing a range of features from its early predecessors, both fits retain a breathable mesh knitted body with premium slabs of suede and leather panelling added in to mix , while ‘N’ labelling secures that extra bit of brand legacy. However, it is all in the details for the 1906 – bold metallics hits characterise the upper that sits blissfully upon an aged midsole, while the 2002 takes a more contemporary approach with its crisp white midsole – forming that extra bit of groundwork for running innovation.
Limited availability of the thisisneverthat x New Balance collection will be launching in-store on Friday 19th August!
