This year, we’ve seen a continuation of the collaboration between Nike and Chitose Abe’s legendary Japanese fashion label Sacai. With a brand new take on Nikes running archive resulting in the VaporWaffle and the revisit of the Blazer, sacai have continued to create some of the most enjoyed collaborations.

Since working as a pattern cutter at COMME des GARCONS and Junya Watanabe, Abe has successfully become one of the most influential mens and womenswear designer with her brand sacai since its introduction in 1999. Known for her technical ability, Abe’s designs has she her become well known for her reworking of garments, taking multiple pieces reimagining them into one new piece… and it’s this idea that’s been brought into all of her Nike collaborations.

This time however, we see a noticeable change… after linking up with Jordan brand and Travis Scott for a three way collaboration, Hiroshi Fujiwara’s Fragment Design have now teamed up with Nike and sacai to bring their ideas to life on the much loved LDWaffle silhouette.

Still featuring that iconic double up of everything from the Swoosh, to the laces and down to the tongue, Fragment add their own signature branded touches to the double stacked midsole and tongue. Sure to be a collaboration to remember, get your entries in below for your chance to purchase!
