‘All Is Fair’ a brand philosophy that underlines the brand’s message that ‘Nothing is promised and nothing is given’ appears throughout this range of tee shirts, alongside strong bold graphics that highlight Frank Rivera’s workings within the streetwear/sportwear/sneaker scene. Strap lines ‘Business As Usual’ and ‘All Is Fair’ appear throughout, embodied in typefaces that are reminiscent of classic American sports team jerseys, with a wolf mascot completing the designs, representing the courage, loyalty and strength that Frank preaches through the brand. Intricate details have been added like the embroidered tabs on the hem.

Mixing components from both the Air Jordan II and Air Force II, this bulky basketball shoe breaks ground with noticeable lack of Swoosh and faux snakeskin running along the side and the tongue. Other details include an embroidered Air Python label on the tongue & heel and unique Air Force 2 styled lacing system. The Air Python comes in a White/White/Silver colourway.

Founded in 1988, French fashion house Maison Martin Margiela A cross-section between fashion and design, this week sees the release of the Jack Purcell model. Each silhouette has been hand-painted in Maison Martin Margiela’s iconic white paint. Covering the entire shoe, they naturally crack and shed their outer coat of paint revealing the original colors beneath, so the more they are worn, the more the colourway underneath is revealed!

Coming in three different colourways per silhouette (Navy, Red and Black). The Maison Martin Margiela x Converse First String collection is available now both in-store and online. Sizes range from UK4 – UK11 (not including half sizes), priced at £150.

This make-up of New Balance’s MRL996 silhouette is a collaboration with Japanese clothing brand Journal Standard – Subtlty has played an integral part in this collaboration with the tonal design only enchanging the different features on the silhouette. We start of with a full navy suede upper with mesh panelling on the toe-box, heel collar and tongue. An off white embroidered New Balance branded label sits atop the mesh tongue, with additional New Balance branding seen on the heel clip (around the midsole) and the stitched logo on the heel. The deep red colour of the branding on the heel clip adds a great pop to the overall simplistic design. This sits on an off-white midsole with black outsole. The footbed features a red NB logo with the Journal Standard branding sitting bodly next to it. A set of two extra laces come supplied in the box aswell as the navy (not pictured).

The collaboration sees the Japanese brand lay it’s all over moon face camouflage print over the already outlandish laceless silhouette, in a collaboration that truly fits. Previous collaborative efforts from numerous brands focusing on contemporary takes on the Reebok’s Pump Fury silhouette have seemed lost, however the use of the A Bathing Ape camo and Aape branding, match the explicit nature of the shoe perfectly.

The Nike Inneva Woven is a premium hand crafted silhouette that boasts a dynamic integrated lacing system as well as a hand woven upper.

The ‘Night Stadium/Wolf Grey’ colourway is the latest offering of Nike’s Inneva woven, featuring dark grey tones across a premium leather and hand woven nylon upper. This latest Nike running release also showcases a Free 5.0 sole unit for the noticeably premium upper to sit upon, alongside fully waxed cotton laces.

This limited release re-issue does the 90s classic justice, incorporating all the original fabrics into its design. Beige suede and grey mesh, amongst a splash of lime green in the panelling, signature stripe and eyelet areas, provide an exact one-to-one model of the 90s original. Grey laces and a clean white midsole help tie up the vibrant XT 2 PLUS, with some neutral finishing touches. The Trinomic is served up in a vintage O.G styled box, completing the re-issue. Also joining the collection is the XT 1, dressed in a grey upper with Vivid Green accents on the PUMA logo, incorporated with breatheable mesh used at the forefront of the shoe, this design follows throughout the silhouette giving it that old school feel!

The Guard Mid was last seen back in ’91 which acted as an alternative mid-cut silhouette to the classic 33 Hi. The shoe features the same midsole/outsole as its’ older brother minus the ankle strap and it being a lower cut model. This release sees a New York Knicks inspired make-up featuring an entire leather upper in blue and orange hues. Various EWING embossings and embroidery can be seen throughout the shoe with the fat tongue featuring the EWING Athletics logo in white and orange. The second colourway is made up of a full wheat coloured nubuck upper with black accents throughout. The classic opaque EWING basketball logo still features on the outsole adding detail to the silhouette.

The Tawyer Evo evolves from the Taywer Mid an original Clarks Sportswear mid boot. This update features the classic Clarks design asthetics fused with modern design techniques. When Clarks approcahed us to create not one but two interpretations of this new model, we couldn’t resist!

Sticking with the Tawyer Evo’s design ethos we began researching various old school craft techniques, eventually coming across a technique we thought would work very well on the Tawyer Evo.

The Sand Tawyer FP features plush ‘Wallabee Brown’ coloured suede on the toe-box which runs through to the tongue, ankle collar and foxing above the midsole. Wraps two-toned woven material  wraps around the side panels with a contrast grey heel clip on the midsole. Additional details include tan leather heel pull-tabs with a debossed Footpatrol bar logo, dual branding on the leather footbed patch stitched on to an Ortholite insole, 3M reflective material on cord laces with contrast beads and an embroidered label on the inside of the tongue. The shoe sits on an off white coloured Vibram outsole (matching the inner lining).

The Blue Multi Tawyer FP differs slightly to the Sand colourway featuring a quilt-stitched Blue velvet suede toe-box and tongue, the Blue suede colour also features on the foxing. A mix of five different colours feature on the woven pattern (Blueprint/Daphne/Marshmallow/Beetroot Purple/Columbia Green), matching the beads that hang off the 3M reflective cord laces. Tan leather accents feature on the ankle collar and heel pull tabs. The Footpatrol bar logo is displayed on the right foot and ‘TEAM FP Edition’ on the left foot. Both models come supplied with a spare set of laces and shoe bag.
