The WTAPS x Vans Vault Fall 2013 Collection is available now both in-store and online. Sizes range from UK6 – UK11. The Classic Slip-On priced at £60, the Chukka LX at £70 & the SK8-Hi at £75.

‘The Benjamin’ UBIQ x New Balance collaborative effort offers up patriotism in abundance on the sought after CM1600 silhouette.
Philadelphia based sneaker store, UBIQ, delivers this patriotic red and white New Balance 1600, in homage to Benjamin Franklin and Philadelphia’s plush history. The suede upper, with contrasting speckled white midsoles and a 13 star tongue tag (a nod to the original 13 US colonies), are the stand out features as UBIQ’s efforts pay tribute to America’s first capitol city and one of the Country’s Founding Fathers.

The pack, including iconic camo prints from across the globe such as Italy, France and the UK to name a few brings us it’s latest offering, German Camo. This military fueled guise transforms classic Air Max styles whilst paying homage to the classic military pattern, featuring a full camo printed upper (Air Maxim 1) with tonal midsole/outsole and laces. The Air Max180 version features a mixed olive green and camo print upper, with a tonal coloured tongue with the German camo print wrapped around the heel and collar lining. The German flag is embroidered on the insole.

The suede construction offers a variety of grey shades and black panels, whilst accents of ‘Green Glow’ highlight the outsole, branding and lace crowns. Sitting on a clean white midsole, the model is finsihed off with an off white coloured air sole unit. Aditional details include the Jordan Jumpman logo on the tongue label, whilst on the flipside is the ‘Air Jordan’ embroided label in black.

This white, alloy and black runner stands out from its fellow vintage runner counterparts, if not for any other reason than it’s size. The chunky but lightweight R1000 includes a rubberised heel counter, microsuede, fine and silky mesh blended upper with contoured midsole adorning triangular windows in the heel aboard a hard wearing running sole. Lime green accents can be seen on th collar lining, lace hole details and the outsole, with additional hits of magenta featured on the heel embroiderey and Le Coq Sportif brand logo on the medial and lateral panels.
The Le Coq Sportif R1000 is available in-store an online Sizes range from UK7 – UK11 (not including half sizes). Priced at £85.

Established and renowned Berlin based streetwear store, Overkill join forces with KangaROOS, the brand with ‘The Original Shoes with Pockets’ on the Coil-R1. Taking to the seas in an effort to source inspiration for this collaboration the shoe features a navy nubuck upper with mesh to mix class and breathability, whilst the trademark tongue pocket remains in tact, naturally.

With teaser images filtering through earlier this month featuring waterproof mesh heavily, it’s no surprise that Norse Projects homeland of Denmark, was the key influencer for this weather inspired collaborative effort. The pack made up of two styles – Brown/Burnt Orange and Blue with Grey tones – boasts the much-revered 1500, a silhouette that highlights New Balance’s heritage. The pack’s colourways are ones that announce Norse Projects influence upon the American running specialist’s classic silhouette, whilst the silhouette itself stays pretty true to form, despite minor branding placement adjustments.

This vibrant blue 996 silhouette features an all suede upper with contrast white stitching, somewhat reminiscent of the J. Crew collection. Yue has opted for a neutral colour pallete that compliments the CMSS blue, whilst also integrating a white RevLite sole with grey accents. Other details include the 3M reflective details on the heel and N logo on the side panels, lace tips with Common Sense branding & dual logos on a blue footbed.

Weighing a mere 4.08oz, Nike re-release their lightweight runner as a Quickstrike release for 2013 following up last year’s Tier Zero version. The upper is still the same, featuring a sythentic mono coloured upper (Tan, Black, Iron Ore and Navy) with the woven details situated on the lateral and medial side of the shoe. Nike branding features on the tongue, heel and footbed. Matching the colour of the upper, the collar lining, heel and footbed are all dressed leather making the white midsole/outsole an welcome contrast. Additional black accents have still been left on the outsole also.
