WMNS Air Jordan 1 High ‘Court Purple’ | Raffles Closed!

09.06.21 General

The Air Jordan 1 OG High is the gift that keeps on giving. What seems to be everybody’s favourite Jordan silhouette at current, the Air Jordan 1 doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

A model that has seen a slew of different colourways, OG retros and collaborations over the years, they demand for them is still high. The latest release is a testament to that.

The latest iteration of the ‘Court Purple’ line was first released in 1985 as part of the ‘Metallic Pack’ – a host of subtle coloured AJ1’s with a hit of metallic hues released in both high and low’s at the time. Then in 2009, Jordan Brand retro’d the pair in a mid cut version adding the Jumpman on the heel and tongue tab. Now 12 years later, consumers and collectors see the return in OG form and in women’s exclusive sizing.

Dressed in a clean white tumbled leather, purple hits are featured on the Swoosh and ankle collar – the latter in patent leather. Further purple details are on the satin lining for a luxury take, tongue tab, midsole and on the wings logo.
