Following up on the all-pink Family and Friends edition at Paris Fashion Week, Footpatrol joins forces with Reebok and Hiking Patrol to offer a refreshed take on the Instapump Fury that’s guided by a connection to the natural world. The design, a symbol of ’90s futurism, is reimagined by swapping out the air pump for a utilitarian zip-up cage and integrating a reinforced toe box. Drawing from the dramatic colours of our landscape and nature in spring, the palette opts for saturated yet muted shades and colour blocking that evoke stillness and calm. Tonal Reebok branding stamps the sidewall, while Footpatrol and Hiking Patrol logos take the heels.
To (reconnect) is found within a triangle of Nature, Balance and Harmony, by this we can re-establish a connection or relationship with someone or something. In this context of our collaborative effort, to reconnect with nature could involve spending time outside, immersing oneself in the beauty and tranquility of nature and developing a deeper appreciation for the environment that surrounds us. The act of reconnecting with nature can act as a powerful way to improve our health both mentally and physically, alongside this developing a greater sense of purpose and connection to the world around us ultimately balancing and harmonising us wholly, to (reconnect).

Following on from our F&F showcase at Paris Fashion Week for our pink Footpatrol x Hiking Patrol x Reebok Instapump Fury 94.
This week to celebrate the launch of the official our retail release, we spent the evening with Soho neighbours Rita’s Dining and some of our close friends for an intimate dinner with Wai from Hiking Patrol.
Launching exclusively at Footpatrol, 20.03.25.
Here’s a recap of what went down!

Earlier in the week the FPRC crew embarked on a cold, wet and dark run around central London. It wasn’t all doom and gloom though, as our friends over at Nnormal joined us in hosting a wear test event for their much loved trail shoe the Tomir 2.0.
We gave our runners a chance to take these consciously made trail shoes out for a test drive and a friendly natter on the streets. Rain or shine the FPRC team got the job done and the miles in to get their week set off right.
Huge thank you to the Nnormal team for teaching us a bit more about the brand and letting us share your message to our community.

The modern marathon is rich in history across the globe. Before we delve deeper into its roots, there are few key points to highlight for those who aren’t quite sure what a marathon is:
- The total distance of a marathon is 42.2km (26.2miles).
- Predominately a road race, although you are able to find marathon races that are trail based.
- Most cities host their own marathon.
- There are only 6 races (now 7) considered to be world majors – New York, Chicago, Berlin, Tokyo, Boston & London (Sydney has now been added to the list for 2025).
Some of these races have been taking place for 50+ years but the origins of this historic distance dates back to a greek legend from 460BC. Where an Athenian messenger by the name of Pheidippides ran from the battle grounds of Marathon to Athens to pass on a message of victory. Pheidippides soon died after arrival to Athens.
It wasn’t until the founding of the Modern Olympics in 1896, where the story of Pheidippides was later used as catalyst to create what we now know as the Marathon during the first games hosted in Athens. A true endurance test to push athletes above and beyond.
Fun Fact for our sneaker enthusiasts! The first gold medal was given to a greek competitor by the name of Spyridon Louis. His name was later used as the inspiration and title of the famed Nike Air Spiridon.
This week, FPRC had the pleasure in hosting adidas for an adizero wear test session celebrating some of the best innovation to grace the running market.
Our community had the chance to try out a great mix of runners from Takumi Sen, Adios Pro 3 and adistar BYD. The adidas team were also on hand to give everyone a little more insight and understanding into what each pair caters for.

On the 12th of September, the Footpatrol Run Club (FPRC) had the pleasure of teaming up with Altra for an exclusive wear test event, combining innovation, fitness, and community spirit.
The night kicked off with an insightful session led by the Altra team, who delved deep into the features and technology that define their various styles. From the balanced cushioning to the FootShape™ toe boxes, our runners were enlightened on how these unique aspects work harmoniously to enhance performance and comfort.
Following the informative session, it was time to put theory into practice. Our FPRC runners eagerly laced up their Altra shoes, ready to experience firsthand the difference that innovative footwear can make. With the sun setting, casting a golden hue over the city, we set off on a 6K run through some of our favourite routes.
But the evening wasn’t just about running; it was also about community. After the run, we gathered at the Footpatrol Store for refreshments provided by House of Cans.
For those who missed out on the event, don’t worry! You can still experience the innovation and comfort of Altra’s footwear with styles are available online at Footpatrol HERE.
