Nike Air Max 90 QS ‘Side A & Side B’ | SOLD OUT

17.06.19 General

The Air Max 90, an upgraded outlook to its predecessors became a cult classic and a traditional mainstay to Nike lifestyle footwear over the years. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the Air Max 90 silhouette featured an aggressive look with a midsole wedge that supported the air unit. Although keeping the original mesh and suede combination, a leather mudguard added for an updated aesthetic.

Over the years, the Air Max 90 model has gone through a host of iterations with the silhouette being a catalyst of updated technology such as hyperfuse, flyknit as well as an Ultra version.

Continuing with the tradition, the ‘Side A & Side B’ release will take inspiration off the connection this model had with music at the time. Nike honors a host of iconic Air Max 90 iterations into its latest release. A combination of classic and premium materials as well as written details make up an Air Max 90 filled with nostalgia.

The Air Max 90 models involved in making both releases stem from past years such as Air Max 90 Infrared, AM90 ‘King of the Mountain’ (2008), AM90 ‘Cork’ (2015), AM90 ‘Moon Landing’ (2014), AM90 Powerwall ‘Lemonade’ (2005), AM90 Powerwall (Sunblush), AM90 ‘Untold Truth’ (2007), AM90 ‘Ostritch’ (2008) and AM90 ‘BRS’ (2005).

Section of each older model is used to create two whole Air Max 90s. Written details along the tongue and outsole continue the theme of music with each older pair written down as a track list.

The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Side A & Side B’ will be available for an in-store purchase exclusively through an online raffle. STRICTLY ONE ENTRY PER COLOUR PER PERSON, multiple entries will be cancelled. Raffle entrance closes on Wednesday 19th June at 10:00AM BST.
