Even if you don’t know Jerry Lorenzo’s work you’ve almost certainly heard his name. A close associate of Kanye West and Virgil Abloh, Lorenzo has been making a name for himself thanks to his unique design approach, which fuses sports and grunge aesthetics to create something totally unique.
Lorenzo founded the brand Fear Of God in 2012. Since those humble beginnings of perfecting white tees and basics ranges, he has gone on to prove his design accolade time and time again, including collaborations with Vans, working on Kanye West’s APC collection and more recently his collection with Nike.
The Fear Of God x Nike collection features a re-work of the retro Skylon II silhouette, as well as two entirely new silhouettes inspired by Lorenzo’s love of vintage basketball trainers and the sport in general.
The Fear Of God x Nike Air Shoot Around is an entirely new silhouette, inspired by classic basketball trainers such as the Jordan 1, and comes in either a Black or Light Bone colour-way. The shoe features a wrap around laces that the wearer can tie in a variety of different ways, as well as large Nike Swoosh branding across each side of the shoe. The Air Shoot Arounds also feature Fear Of God branding throughout, and an exposed air unit in the heel.
The Fear Of God x Nike Air Shoot Around will be available for an in-store purchase exclusively through an online raffle. STRICTLY ONE ENTRY PER COLOUR PER PERSON, multiple entries will be deleted. Raffle entrance closes Monday 14th January.
