Reebok continue to celebrate the anniversary of their Classic Leather Lux – next up on the Certified Network roster is Hanon (Aberdeen, Scotland) and Beatnic (Fullerton, California) with their take on the classic silhouette.
Hanon draw to their coat of arms for inspiration on their Reebok Classic Leather Lux taking particular attention to the two leopards that stand beside the shield. The shoe features a full pig-skin suede upper in creme and yellow, with perforated details on the toe-box and wrapped around the side panels. The Hanon flame logo & Reebok Certified Network sit alongside each other de-bossed on the heel of both feet. A red and white dual-branded embroidered patch can be seen on the tongue, with leopard print covering the inner lining and footbed.
BNTC drew inspiration from British camouflage print for their Reebok Classic Leather – adding their own twist to the print, instead of using classic brush strokes BNTC have gone for a paint splatter effect. This print covers the entire upper of the shoe, they also (subtly) included their brand logo within the camouflage print. The upper sits comfortably on an off-white midsole with a muted gum outsole. The Reebok branding on the medial side and inner lining appear in a bright orange hue representing the stores’ location (Orange County). The footbed features the custom BNTC camo print with dual branded logos in gold, whilst the black tongue label and heel tab add contrast to the highly detailed silhouette.
