Givenchy JAW: A limited edition of Givenchy’s urban sports style sneaker.
Named after the “teeth” on its distinctive sole, the JAW combines the many functionalities of a sports shoe yet takes its cues from several eras, fusing elements of Sixties-era track shoes with the chunky shapes of high-tech sneakers from the Nineties. A fusion of high performance and haute couture, its sensibility is squarely of the moment.
The store install was designed by London based design studio Hotel Creative whom in the past have designed many of our in-store campaigns. The distinctive window aesthetic features the sole sneaker immersed within the jaws of a huge shark. The jaw is made to look like the skeleton of a shark with red silicone dipped teeth, this co-ordinates from the footwear that features the same hues.
Upon entering the store, another smaller take down of the jaw is present housed on a concrete and red silicon podium, featuring a museumesque plaque offering up further information about the project.
