In the lead up to the end of the year, adidas and YEEZY revisit one of their most famed silhouettes, the 500.
Stick with the traditional tonal colours seen across the range, this latest 500 has been dressed in an all over Stone colour way with sandy bursts across the upper.
Straying away from its usual mesh base layer which has become a regular material seen on previous 500’s, this iteration features a more smooth and bulk finish filling out the panels, perfect for this time of year whilst complementing the structure of the midsole.
With a contrasting gum outsole, the 500 sticks with its built in ADIPRENE+ built within the midsole making the 500 is stil one of the most comfortable around.

For fall ’19, Nike have teamed up with K-pop star G-Dragon for a unique iteration of the Air Force 1.
Bringing his DIY vision to the iconic Air Force 1 Silhouette, G-Dragon incapsulates a unifying messaging bringing together the creativity of youth and the free exchange of ideas.
Dressed in the recognisable colour way of a black upper with white swoosh detailing, this unique AF1 has been finished in a hand painted effect, spilling on to the midsole and outsole making each pair have a unique appearance.
Playing on this individuality, during the wear the upper will begin to crack and chip away revealing a unique artwork by G-Dragon. Custom pins at the eyelets and daisy motifs finish off this unique iteration of a classic silhouette.

Continuing the relationship between Nike and Travis Scott, the duo have worked together once again on creating a unique edition of the Air Force 1.
Having already worked on this silhouette back in 2018, this time the team have created a much more eye catching affair. Where that previous version was dressed in an all over sail colour-way creating a much more subtle iteration, the 2019 version is made up of a patchwork detailing across each panel.
Continuing with this sense of ‘over the top’ design and its array of prints, the AF1 has been dressed in camo, suede, felt and leathers with KAKTYC A*EK Records branding featured which coincides with the ‘CACTUS JACK’ branding.
Sitting on top for the first time ever, is a detachable lace cover finished in a rich two tone corduroy that encloses with a brass zipper.

Over twenty years have passed since Nike redefined the Air Max Plus with Tuned Air, TN to most, one of those most recognisable silhouettes is the Air Max Plus III.
Now far into 2019, Nike has graced us with an OG return of this model. This Air Max Plus III strays away from the original Air Max Plus’ vertical cage and dons a more horizontal body. Staying true to its name ‘Blue Speed’ even static, the Air Max III Plus screams motion. The cage takes on a more aerodynamic aesthetic with curved overlays draped across the upper as though in a wind tunnel, passing over the sneaker.
Tn branding on the heel and tongue complete the style, cementing the return of one of the fiercest and fastest OG Air Max colourways.
Available in-store and online, sizes range from UK4 – UK12, priced at £150.

Off-White founder Virgil Abloh and Nike join forces once again to continue their work with champions in progress.

The Nike x Off-White Vapor Street takes the look of a running favourite adding Virgils unique finishes to the silhouette. Similar to that found the on the recent Terra Kiger model, the Vapor Street has been garnished in racing spikes on the outsole with a colourful design with Virgil’s eye for the iconic.

This fall sees another coming together between Nike and CLOT for their latest iteration of the iconic Air Force One silhouette.
In a desire to build bridges between the East and West, CLOT founder Edison Chen has used heritage as a form of innovation to create a bold look that breaks boundaries and unites cultures.
The traditional AF1 leather upper has been swapped out with a luxurious woven silk which features a pattern printed within it that pays homage to Chinese cultures.
Within the design lies a layer with hidden depths which when the top layer wears away, or torn, this AF1 reveals a secondary skin with a new design replicating an undiscovered creativity.

In 2015, adidas debuted their latest silhouette called the NMD R1 that featured BOOST technology and a Primeknit construction. Throughout 2016, the model was creating waves within the footwear industry and became a favourite to consumers. During the same year, adidas Consortium collaborated with sneaker-connoisseurs Nice Kicks to create their rendition and turned out to be an instant it, so much so it’s considered as one of the best NMD R1 to date.
A few years later in 2019, they’ve come together once again to take on the adidas UltraBOOOST model, another fan favourite and best seller. The Adidas Ultraboost “Woodstock” is inspired by the hippie movement which took place at the Woodstock music festival where people would travel from all over the world to celebrate love, peace, and music.
Like its predecessor, the use of a traditional tie-dye on a fully knitted upper is the standout element with a multi-colour take as opposed to the previous black and red. The tie-dye spiral design is to give a psychedelic theme inspired by the movement.
A semi-translucent cage and heel clip to add to the uniqueness of the sneaker’s story. The shoe features a white BOOST midsoles with red torsion plates and finishes off with a gum rubber outsole. Nice Kicks and Woodstock branding can be found on the tongue of both shoes as well as the graphic on the footbed. Finally, the sneaker is completed with the signature Consortium eyelets.
The adidas Consortium x Nice Kicks UltraBOOST ‘Woodstock’ is now available in-store and online.

Continuing to lead the signature collection line, the AJ1 is undoubtedly a fan favourite and a host of iterations have been released this year let alone over the years. There doesn’t seem to be any signs of the model slowing down as Jordan Brand are back with their latest variation of the Air Jordan 1 High.
When MJ was inaugurated into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009, he closed his speech by saying “Limits, like fears, are often just an illusion”. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of his speech, the shoe that started it all is unafraid to return to the court as part of the ‘Fearless Ones’ series.
This version features a standout aesthetic of a 50/50 split. Staying true to the first 3 patent leather colourways on the Air Jordan I, this ‘Fearless Ones’ iteration combines the University Blue and Gym Red on the upper. With a black Swoosh, laces and ankle collar, the signature Wings logo is switched to a black/gold jewelled version. The last line of MJ’s speech and a crossed-out version of the word “FEAR” are emblazoned on the midsoles.
