adidas SPEZIAL FW19 | Coming Soon

02.10.19 General

This seasons adidas SPZL collection features 4 shoes and a range of ready to wear with it’s significance being more personal connect to Gary Aspden himself.

The footwear that feature within the range are the adidas SL80 SPZL which is dressed in its iconic navy, yellow and red colourway with a mix of mesh and suede uppers making this a 1:1 retro of the original model.

The adidas Winterhill SPZL takes inspiration from the Reinhold Messner signature mountain boot. Being the more harder wearing model from the range the Winterhill comes in adidas’s newly revived adi-tex technology making them water resistant, a raised mudguard for increased durability with subtle adidas branding on the side wall and tongue. Also included in the range is the adidas Hoddlesden SPZL, taking design cues from the Freizeit series which follows on from predecessors such as the adidas Albrecht SPZL keeping it in line with adidas’s leisure shoes.

The Final model and focal point of this seasons SPZL range, the adidas Blackburn SPZL. Named after the Lancashire town from where Gary Aspden grew up the Blackburn is the first of its kind. With the colourway inspired by the Lancashire Rose, the shoe is constricted in a green suede upper and red stripes, navy sole and MOD Trefoil branded tongue.

To round off and complete this FW19 SPZL collection is a host of clothing. The earthy toned Belthorn anorak and the Rossendale parka melds both durability and style, are the standout pieces from the collection. Along with the jackets, a Spezial liner vest which fits seamlessly into the Belthorn, 2 t-shirts in both short and long-sleeve completing the look with 2 pairs of adidas Spezial socks.
