Recently Footpatrol teamed up with runner Leon Lewis to support his latest challenge ‘Project Run Jamaica’, a 345KM+ run across the island in 4 days, a feat that has never been done before.
Jamaica has been seen as a country that excels in short distance running, developing some of the greatest track-stars to date. Leon’s mission is to not only bring the community together but, also introduce long distance / ultra distance running to the Island in the hopes of inspiring others.
It only felt right to partner with PUMA, who are Jamaica’s biggest sportswear sponsor to bring this project to life and support Leon.
To kick things off, we hosted a send off community run from the Footpatrol London store with a series of wear test pairs, giveaway merch, food and beverages. Thank you for all that attended, stay tuned to the Footpatrol Run Club page where we will be sharing coverage of Leon’s journey on this Project Run Jamaica challenge.
Here’s a recap of what went down!
