With the stores now back open and back in full swing, we revisit ‘Ask TEAMFP‘ which if you weren’t aware, you’ll be able to find live on our website.
In an effort to bring you, the community closer to our team, we’ll be introducing you to a few familiar faces you’re likely to see on your store visits. It’s these team members that will be heading up the service and will be on hand to offer you in-depth looks into product, in-store sizing guidance and styling advice whilst also being able to offer you a greater insight into our local community of Soho.
This week, we meet Che. One of the newer members to TEAMFP and to London, Che was born and raised in New Zealand so as well blue skies (hopefully), she also brings with her knowledge of the NZ street culture and what it has to offer.
FP: To start things off, tell us a bit about yourself and where you’re from?
Che: Born and raised in New Zealand, but have recently moved to London to see what it has to offer.
FP: Where would you say you got your style influences from?
Che: Ummm I just like to wear anything comfortable or baggy I guess. You could say I take influence from street/skate wear
FP: Who is your most listened to artist right now?
Che: Isaiah Rashad and Hiatus Kaiyote
FP: Favourite shoe?
Che: Atm the Gundam x Nike Dunk. Excited for a new anime collab. Love the design with interchangeable swoosh and stickers that come with it. Reminds me of when I used to build the figurines as a kid.
FP: If you had to pick one brand to wear, what would it be and why?
Che: Recently I’ve been into Willy Chavarria, a sick brand and designer.
FP: Can you explain the benefits of the Ask Team FP service?.
Che: I think it’s a cool way to introduce the team to the public as I know the sneakers game can seem quite exclusive. Especially to newer sneaker collectors like myself.
FP: Top 3 pairs you own?
Che: Dunk Low Plum, Missy Elliott Superstar 35th anniversary, Aleali May AJ14
FP: If you had to pick one place to get food in the area where would you recommend?
Che: Bao soho
FP: What’s the most common question you hear when you’re with a customer?
Che: “Any uncollected raffles?” Hahaha
