Founded in 2006, JJJJound began life as a digital mood board designed to examine and document recurring themes and patterns within timeless pieces of Design.

In recent times however, JJJJound have become more of a collaborative design studio that focus their attention heavily on longevity and construction and looking back to that word of timeless. With the help of their own projects, JJJJound have also found themselves working in collaboration with numerous brands and artists that seem to share these same philosophies. This is no different for 2020 with the welcomed addition of their take on the New Balance 992.

Built with the idea of the everyday sneaker at mind, JJJJound and New Balance look towards the days of the week with a take on a ‘weekday’ and ‘weekend’ sneaker.

The iconic New Balance Grey has been made to look aged and worn through continuous amounts of wear throughout the week, resembling an everyday sneaker. The green borrows inspiration from vintage walking sneakers, hinting towards your weekends with forest green hues flowing across the upper.

Both take New Balance’s highest levels of craftsmanship with the uppers being constructed from premium materials such as a rich pig skin with bespoke design details like the JJJJound heel branding and custom inserts.
