A fortnight ago we teamed up with Puma and London based sneaker enthusiasts The Panel to organise an occasion to celebrate the revolution of the Puma Cell technology. The event was based in Shoreditch, London and was themed around a laboratory in minimal form which was a continuation from the Puma install at Hypefest in New York. This showcased Pumas archives on display as well as explanatory posters for attendees to take in the history of the their innovation and evolution.
The main function of the night was a discussion with The Panel and Dave Burdett on a 2 part conversation about all things Puma Cell. The Panel are a group of sneaker collectors whom, combined with all their experiences and knowledge within the sneaker culture, delve into how and what makes (in this case) Puma Cell a mainstay in todays sneaker industry. The Puma Cell Endura and Puma Cell Venom were amongst the discussion frequently as both are popular models to a lifestyle or performance consumer. In addition, the discussion was interactive with the audience allowed to ask questions at any given moment to give a casual yet informative atmosphere. In turn, we were given an insight from Puma on how they stay relevant in todays sneaker climate, the original design and technology as well as what is to come in the near future.
Food and drinks were served along with a DJ booth to keep guests entertained during and after the occasion.
We would like to thank Puma and The Panel for a collaborative effort!
The Puma Cell Venom and Puma Cell Endura are Now Available in-store and online. Sizes range from UK6 – UK12, priced between £95 – £110.
