Celebrating their 10th year anniversary Vans Vault resurrect the Disney x Vans OG Classics collection for 2013.
The Disney x Vans partnership first came onto the scene back in the 80′s. This one of a kind collaboration was only available to purchase at the Disneyland theme park in California. The collection pays homage to well known Disney characters like Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh & Donald Duck. The OG Classics pack consists of two silhouettes – the OG Authentic LX and OG Sk8-Hi LX. The OG Authentic LX features a full durable canvas upper with three all-over Disney prints. The Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse versions feature the cartoon characters’ donning various facial expressions on an off-white upper, and the Winnie the Pooh print features the character in different poses on a blue upper. Other details on the OG Authentic LX include painted metal eyelets, waxed laces and Ortholite cushioned insoles. All three colourways sit atop a white midsole with the classic Vans gum waffle outsole.
The OG SK8-Hi LX silhouette uses a mixed canvas and suede upper. Suede material features on the toe-box running through to the tongue, and around the collar (in blue on the Donald Duck version and red on the Mickey Mouse version). The printed canvas upper can be seen on both the medial and later side of the shoe, with the Vans stripe logo in white leather & the red Vans logo on the heel-tab.
The Disney x Vans Vault OG Classics collection is available now both in-store and through mail order.
The OG Authentic LX is available in infant sizes. Sizes range from UK4 – UK9 priced at £35. The Adult sizes range from UK4 – UK12 (not including half sizes) priced at £65. The OG SK8-HI LX sizes range from UK6 – UK12 (not including half sizes) priced at £75.
