adidas re-release their iconic 90’s runner for Summer 2015.

The adidas Equipment Racing 93 OG returns in its’ original colourway this summer. Assebled with the same sleek build as the original, this 2015 version features a breathable Green mesh upper with contrast cream textile overlays wrapped around the toe-box and heel. The silhouette’s distinct webbing quarter strips anchor the laces into the eyelet vamp, providing much need support across the foot. A compression moulded EVA sole unit sits beneath, complemented with a Black rubber outsole balancing the colour palette.

Nike’s most popular silhouette to date gets the ‘Cork’ treatment!

We last saw a Cork upper on the 25th Anniversary edition of the Air Max 90, this summer Nike applies the same treatment to their Air Force 1 Mid silhouette. The shoe comes dressed in a full Cork material with Black and Infrared accents throughout. A clean White midsole is added with Black ‘Air’ branding towards the heel, finished off with an Infrared outsole.

Taiwan’s INVINCIBLE has unveiled it’s celebratory take on the Ventilator in honor of the Reebok Ventilator’s 25th Anniversary.

Dubbed the ‘Wild Jungle’ the kicks come dressed in all white upper, pairing breathable mesh quarter panels with croc-embossed leather paneling and zebra-striped overlays that incorporate reflective 3M throughout. Finished with dashes of grey, on the medial and insole.

L.A. based boutique Sneaker Politics celebrate the 25th birthday of Reebok’s famed 90s runner the Ventilator.

Creative motivation can come from a vision in your own backyard, or sometimes it arrives direct from a far-off exotic location…

Derek Curry, owner of Sneaker Politics’ inspiration came from a vacation a member of staff had taken. “One of my staff takes an outrageous vacation every year. He found this spot in Western Australia, where there’s a lake that’s totally pink caused by algae”. The ‘Pink Lake’ Ventilator icomes in a Green & Beige upper with pops of Fuchsia & Pastel Pink highlighting the silhouette. Sneaker Politics branding features in debossed form on the heel and in printed form on the footbed.

Diadora presents the S8000 OG Espresso Ristresso, an OG running silhouette from their archive.

Reconstructed in all its’ OG glory, this updated version of the 90s runner still features the same details as the original. The shoe is constructed with premium suede and mesh materials in shades of Grey, White and Green. Translucent, plastic Diadora branding can be seen on the lateral side panel, with further branding in embroidered form seen on the tongue & heel. The shoe is made in Italy in the Montebelluna shoe district of Caerano di San Marco.

Just 800 pairs have been made worldwide, and is a MUST for any Diadora fans…!

The latest Air Solarsoft release emerges from Nike’s ACG line with an innovative build and versatile look.

This latest edition of the Air Solarsoft Zigzag has been designed to be worn in various environments – from the beach to city streets. The new design exudes lightweight comfort with a minimalist upper and Nike Solarsoft outsole. The upper is constructed of a woven textile material with a water-resistant foam strap underlay. Nike branding fetaures on the heel strap, outsole and lateral panel. Available in two colour options Black and White, the Air Solarsoft WVN SP comes with a Nike SP branded Carabiner.

Swiss retailers Titolo is next up on the Certified Network Series with their take on Ventilator.

The name ‘Desert Dawn’ comes from the skies turning pitch Black at night and temperatures dropping below zero in the heart of the desert. When the crack of dawn hits, shortly before the sunrise the dark sky glows up while clouds blush a Fiery Red that combines with sandy dunes. The Titolo x Reebok Ventilator ‘Desert Dawn’ is dressed in a mixture of Red, Maroon, Orange, Navy, Blue and Tan, the shoe is constructed with a mixture of mesh & suede that is completed with a White midsole.

2015 sees Nike celebrating the 20th year anniversary of their famed silhouette, the Air Max 95.

Designed by Nike footwear designer Sergio Lozano, the Nike Air Max 95 has become a staple shoe amongst the UK’s youth for decades. At the time, Lozano was enlisted to lead Nike’s newest AIr Max project. Lozano found inspiration upon looking at various human anatomy books in the Nike design library, he was in particular attracted to the correlation between the construction of the human body and the essentials of product design. With human ribs, vertebrae, muscle and skin as his chief points for inspiration, the Air Max 95 silhouette was born…

Nike celebrate this almost brandless running model with the release of the Nike Air Max 95 OG ‘Greedy’ – featuring a mash-up of OG colourways like the Neon, Grape and Chilli to name a few seen in an assymetrical lock-up. The reflective panel on the tongue makes a welcomed appearance, as does the reflective heel panel. The shoe sits on a Black midsole/outsole with a Neon coloured visible Air sole unit on the right shoe, and an Orange visible Air sole unit on the left. The shoe comes housed in a replica version of the original box.

Boston retailers Bodega and German sportswear giants adidas work together to bring a special collaboration ZX Flux.

Taking inspiration from Stanley Kubrick’s iconic film 2001: A Space Odyssey, playing off the colour palette of supernova reds, orange burst and cautionary yellow. All this is illustrated across a black woven nylon base, which is interrupted at the tongue and heel stabilizer by rare-ly seen suede leather. The inventive use of upscale materials continues through the interior lining with a leather collar, while detailing at the heel pull, speckled off-white midsole and outsole wrap up this collaboration.

Nike drop another three colourways in their Free Inneva Woven silhouette, this time coming in the Mid form.

The reimagined Free Inneva Woven Mid features similar elements to its low-top counterpart, harking back to the original design with its tonal colourways in ‘White’, ‘Matte Silver’ and ‘Purple Shade’. The Nike Free Inneva Woven Mid has a new higher collar and a hand-woven nylon upper for incredible comfort and lightweight, durable support.
