Released back in 2012, the Woei x ASICS Gel Lyte III ‘Cervidae’ is one of the most unique and remebered collaborative editions of the shoe ever. For the latest collab, Woei revisit the Cervidae’ on an Onitsuka Tiger silhouette.

Three years later, the Rotterdam, Netherlands based boutique is back with a second part to the Cervidae series, this time round Woei works on the Onitsuka Tiger Colorado 85. Inspired by Cervidae, better known as the deer family of mammals. The Colorado 85 features a blend of dark and light brown tones across the premium suede upper. The ‘Cervidae II’ also features tonal zig-zag stitching, debossed branding, and reflective detailing, while d-ring eyelets complete a hiking aesthetic.

Carrying on from the success of the Jordan Future – the newest lifestyle shoe to come from the Jordan Brand is the Jordan Eclipse.

A new introduction to Jordan family is this latest lifestyle silhouette for SS15. The upper is constructed with an all over mesh upper seen in a black weave pattern and are edged with a black piping, with a Roshe Run like lacing system. The shoe sits atop a clean white midsole, with a Huarache-like tongue and black ropes laces. Branding is kept to a minimal with the ‘Jumpman’ branding on the heel and woven brand tab to the tongue.

Originally released 20 years ago as performance trainer, the Aria is back for SS ’15.

The advancements in construction allowed EVA midsole shapes to become more complex and aesthetically captivating. For this reason, Karhu brought back the original footwear designer, Soni O’David, to share the initial creation with the modern generation. In combination with Karhu’s Fulcrum technology, the Aria’s mono sock construction provided innovations in comfort and function. The Aria will be released in it’s original colourway and marks the first time Karhu reintroduced a shoe from this era showing a passionate willingness to reinvent the Legend collection. At the same time, the Aria maintains its connection to the history and evolution of the Karhu brand.

Garmany’s Solebox has partnered with PUMA to release two special iterations of the XS850 silhouette. 

The Adventurer pack consists of a light grey version of the sneaker, as well as a black and grey two-tone variation. The sneakers are constructed from suede, mesh, nubuck and neoprene and feature a constrasting splatter detailing at the heel. Solebox branding at the heel and insole complete the collaboration.

The Nike Air Presto returns as a Quickstrike in an OG colourway for Summer 2015.

The inspiration for the original Nike Air Presto came from the fit of a t-shirt and created to mimic the same feel, with a unique XXS – XXL sizing structure and elastic upper that hugged your foot. It’s minimalistic look made it a favourite for runners and collectors alike.

For June ’15, Nike re-issue two original Air Presto colourways – the Brutal Honey and Lightning colourway. The Brutal Honey colourway consists of a stretchy Black upper with Yellow accents on the inner lining, midsole and outsole. Honey coloured details can be found on the plastic toe-guard and moulded mid-foot fingers. The Nike Swoosh features in embroidered form on the toe-box and on the heel, with further Nike Presto branding seen on the tongue label. The Lightning colourway features a striking lightning graphic on the entire upper with Zen Grey accents on the midsole. The moulded mid-foot fingers come in the translucent form with further hits of Harbour Blue on the outsole making the shoe pop.

Nike update their Flyknit Racer with two new colourways for S ’15.

The Flyknit Racer is one of Nike’s lightest runners with an upper that provides ultimate breathability when in motion. The Flyknit technology renders this shoe incredibly lightweight with the upper and tongue weighing in at a mere 34 grams. Fusing this one-piece knitted upper with the Nike Air Zoom Unit at the forefoot, and a full-length Phylon midsole makes for a comfortable ride.

Nike drop two new colourways for Summer ’15 – the first colourway dubbed the ‘Oreo’ features a blend of Black and White on the Flyknit construction with a contrast Black and White midsole. The second option ‘Blue Lagoon’ features a mix of Blue and Teal colours on the Flyknit upper with a contrast Black Swoosh on the medial and lateral panels. The midsole is treated in a Black and Bright Green colour making it the stand out feature on the silhouette.

Fresh from the Vans archive are two new colourways in the Era OG LX perfect for the Summer weather!

The Era OG LX silhouette is constructed to replicate the original Era design from the 80s. Featuring higher foxing on the midsole, this latest release has been given the classiv Vans checkerboard treatment. Coming in two colourways perfect for Summer: Ceylon Yellow and True Blue. Further details like the leather inner-lining and part leather part canvas footbed add longevity to the shoes. Vans branding features as an embroidered tab on the lateral side of the shoe, further branding can be seen on the footbed and heel. Finally a creamy gum waffle outsole is added in all its’ nostalgic form.

adidas set to drop another edition from their Ultra BOOST Collective range created by Belgian fashion designer Kris Van Assche.

The Kris Van Assche Ultra BOOST is the third release out of the Ultra BOOST Collective series. The concept known as the Ultra BOOST Collective features contributions rom leading collaborative partners in the fashion industry including: Stella MacCartney and many other leading creatives. adidas team up with fashion designer Kris Van Assche who tempers the shoe’s ‘performance’ workings with a symbol of the satorial tailoring he is known for, the Argyle pattern. Vans Assche dresses the Ultra BOOST’s primeknit upper in a contrast Argyle pattern which resembles that of a futuristic sock. Available in Navy Blue/Red/Grey paired with a Red outsole.

The adidas Ultra BOOST Collective by Kris Van Assche is available now ONLINE ONLY. Sizes range from UK6 – UK11 (not including half sizes) priced at £190.

Following from the YEEZY Season 1 launch earlier in the year during the New York Fashion Week, rapper Kanye West and adidas Originals present the second model to drop this Summer.

After the launch of the YEEZY 750 Boost boot, collaborative partners Kayne West and adidas Originals are back with their second release – the YEEZY BOOST 350. This model features an upper composed entirely of adidas’ Primknit material. The shoes bossts the ulitimate in comfort and performance, ensuring that the wearer’s every step is hyper-charged with and endless supply of light, fast energy. A mixed Grey and Black colour makes up the upper complimented with an Off-White outsole. Red stitch details can be seen on the heel pull-tab.

Since the Sock Dart’s return earlier this year, we’ve seen an array of different colours – these latest iterations have been added for Summer ’15.

The Nike Sock Dart SP defines the true meaning of retro. The silhouette has held it’s honorary place in the Nike archive since 2004, only now making a comeback after 11 years. The Nike Sock Dart was the first shoe to be created with a computerised knitting technology on the uppers – a forerunner to much of the innovation used today. The silicone strap across the top section section and the geometric sole unit still look as revolutionary as they did a decade ago.

This Summer sees Nike release the Sock Dart Indepence Day pack. This year sees no different from last years Air Max 90 iterations – the Sock Dart SP are seen in an all over Red, White and Blue. Colour blocked apart from the iconic swoosh in black to the midsole.
