New Balance has chosen this year to shine the spotlight on the music genre of Rock ‘n’ Roll and it’s staple musical instrument.

The first sneaker is the M998CEL which draws inspiration from the hnad finishes often seen on guitars associated with the rock ‘n’ roll genre. The sneaker features a premium suede and grey accents on the side panels and logo, complete with an ABZORB cushioned midsole. The second sneaker is the M997CCF which is constructed with plush suede and textured leather, a mixture of Charcoal and Burgundy makes up the colourway of this 997 silhouette. Sitting on top of an Encap cushioned midsole with a built up heel unit for maximum comfort.

ASICS Tiger and AFEW have worked together for several years to celebrate Japan Day, and now that partnership continues with the Japan Day inspired GEL-Lyte III 25th anniversary shoe.

The convergence of these two cultures inspired AFEW’s salute to the GEL-Lyte III. The iconic silhouette’s Japanese flag inspired colourway – red, white and black. A mixture of materials is used on the upper from rough suede, to give it texture, as well as perforated suede toecap and midsection, gives this shoe an emblematic feel. The Japanese denim outer stripes made from Japanese selvage and wooden eyelets inspired by Japanese furniture, add to its overall, ‘handmade’ quality. To finish of there is a transparent section on the outsole will also feature AFEW written on one foot whilst their circular logo is on the other.

Jordan Brand return with their latest colourway on the XX9 silhouette dubbed the Jordan XX9 ‘Hare’.

This latest edition of the Jordan XX9 takes design cues from the Air Jordan 7 ‘Hare’ colourway – featuring an all-over print of the geometric design seen on the tongue on the AJ7. Deep Purple accents feature on the laces, inner lining and the large Jumpman logo emblazoned across the lateral panel of the shoe.

PUMA re-introduce their lightweight lifestyle shie the FAAS 500 for Summer ’15 dubbed the ‘Bubblegum’ Pack.

PUMA’s impressively lightweight silhouette the FAAS 500 is executed in a textered mesh upper finished off with soft nubuck accents on the formstripe and overlays, giving this technical shoe a casual exterior. The colourway combines colourful and classic aesthetics with lightweight designs to produce an essential footwear collection. Nike presents a new pack perfect for the Summer weathers ahead..!

The pack features the brands most popular silhouettes – the Nike Air Max 1, Nike Air Huarache and Nike Air Max 90. The whole pack are all finished with an entirely white upper. As an extra design element, each of the sneakers features ostrich skin style panels alongside microperf panels and smooth leather giving the shoe different dynamics. Keeping things crisp are matching white plastic details, midsoles and air units whilst the Gum outsole below adds some pop.

The Nike Air Presto returns for Summer 2015 in two clean colourways.

The Nike Air Presto Breathe (or BR as it’s also known as) is executed with a breathable mesh upper. The same mesh is added on the inner lining. Contrasts accents can be found on the mini embroidered Nike Swoosh situated on the toe-box. Finally the Air Presto logo is presented in a rubber form on the tongue, and the heel tab includes a 3M reflective stripe for visibility at night.

The Nike Air Presto BR QS White/Black & Black/White is available now in-store (sold out online). Sizes range from XXXS – XL priced at £100.

Footpatrol and Reebok work together to bring the 25th Anniversary Ventilator ‘Hotstepper’..!

On Thursday 21st May, Footpatrol and Breaks Agency work together to produce a launch event for our collaboration Ventilator the ‘Hotstepper’. The sneaker is based on 90’s Leisure Centres and keeping with that theme the store was decked out just like a leisure centre. The front area of the store included benches, towels, floats and lots of leisure centre like props – to make our customers and friends feel like they were at a real leisure centre! Atendees were given a swiming pool style rubber band which had dangling keys at the end of them – so they could try opening the lockers which had surprise gifts inside them. Finishing off the leisure centre theme was the staff & security were wearing custom made polo shirts and sweatbands.

New Balance release two new colourways of the 997 for SS ’15.

The first sneaker is dubbed as the ‘Distinct Weekend Bag’, the shoe sports a premium chalk blue suede upper, with tonal canvas underlays to the toe box, tongue and sidewalls. The shoe sits on a clean white ‘Encap’ midsole and gum sole. The second sneaker is hand-crafted in the USA, New Balance’s latest rendition of their classic 997. The sneaker features a premium Navy Suede upper with blue mesh underlays at the toe-box, tongue and sidewalls. The upper sits on top of a ‘Encap’ midsole providing a lightweight feel.

Nike celebrates the 30th Anniversary of this classic basketball shoe – Presenting the Nike Dunk Hu LX SP ‘Gym Red’.

The Nike Dunk High Lux SP Gym Red features a slimmer profile with streamlined look. It includes an all-red beautiful premium leather upper with quilt stitching. The pair is given a luxury treatment with a slimmed out toe box and features an incredibly comfortable Lunarlon insole. This pair has a paneled upper crafted with full leather with the iconic Swoosh on the sidewalls and white branding on the tongue and back heel of each shoe.

The Nike Lunar Dunk High SP Sequoia Green sports a full leather upper, with contrast quilt-stitch leather lining. Memory foam has been added around the ankle collar providing ultimate comfort. Nike presents the latest Women’s collection for Summer ’15 featuring two classic silhouettes, the Air Max 90 and Air Huarache.

This latest womens collection from Nike features two silhouettes, the Air Max 90 PRM and the Air Huarache PRM. The ‘White Ice’ pack is seen in an all-white colourway, a perfect choice for the summer months ahead. An all-white pentagonal graphic is applied to the leather overlays adding intricate details to the shoe. The Air Max 90 PRM takes the details a step further with it’s ice blue translucent outsole.
