A legendary Nike Basketball model breaks through this spring with a unique finish.

The Blazer Mid was first introduced in 1973, since then the classic hoops shoe has made a seamless transition from the courts to the streets with the different looks its had since. Following up on the black version that previously released, Nike presents the Blazer Mid Metric QS in a Royal Blue colourway for Spring 2015. The mid top sneaker comes with the same triangle ‘Metric’ upper structure in a completey tonal Royal Blue version, even down to the outer sole, ining of the sneaker and rope laces.

adidas unveil the latest edition to their performance running footwear range, calling it the ‘greatest running shoe they’ve ever made’, the Ultra Boost.

adidas first introduced the Boost technology to the world last year with the release of the adizero Prime Boost silhouette – since this time, there have been many variations of running footwear all incorporating their new Boost technology. For Spring ’15 adidas have once again tweaked and modified previous designs resulting in their newest silhouette the Ultra Boost.

The Ultra Boost is comprised of a engineered mesh upper known as Prime Knit allowing the foot flex freely whilst in motion. With its’ bootee construction adding additional comfort, the plastic 3-Stripe cages featured on the medial and lateral panels provide stability. The central section of the external heel clip has been cut out to allow the achilles to move correctly. adidas have increased the percentage of Boost to the silhouette which now sits at the forefront of the shoe where the EVA sole was on older generations of the Boost line. An energy harnessing Stretch Web outsole has been added – this adapts and stretches to the movement of your foot.

Continuing the flow of thematic footwear commemorate 30 years of the iconic franchise, Jordan brand launches a four shoe laser pack, and next up is the Air Jordan XX silhouette.

Back in 2004, Tinker Hatfield had asked Michael Jordan for weeks for any insight into what he remembered about his career to date, and Michael kept coming up empty. One day, he told Tinker, ‘Im ready to talk’ and he did. The memories kept flowing which inspired designers Tinker and Mark Smith which they began creating symbols that represented all of the moments that mattered to Michael, from cycling to motorcycle tires.

10 years later, this timeless model returns with laser etched lace covers and celebratory laser aesthetic. Equipped with an ankle strap and collar, the Air Jordan XX adds a futuristic appeal to the collection while maintaining a historic look into the Jordan Brand’s DNA.

Nike releases a new colourway of their WMNS Air Huarache Run.

Nike Presents a new colourway of the Nike Air Huarache for womens. Seen in an all tonal Wolf Grey upper with a contrasting white midsole to add a better dynamic to the shoe. Nike branding can be found on the tongue and the heel strap.

The Nike Air Max 1 undergoes a military-inspired decals and colourways on this new ‘Patch Pack’ collection.

Using the iconic Nike Air Max 1 as the base for this collection, the Beaverton-based brand have produced a three monochromatic iterations of the shoe, namely Steel Green, Black and Sand, updating the runner by way of innovative No Sew mudguard and canvas uppers which boast ployester details such as the instantly recognisable swoosh.

Each sneaker comes with overall 22 patches, referencing key people, places and moments in the Air Max’s evolution. Every patch tells a story, from the three letter symbols of Tokyo (TKO), London (LDN), Milan (MLN), New York City (NYC), Paris (PRS), and Shanghai (HAI), to the subtle nods to Tinker Hatfield with TH87 and TH90 markings.

Japanese retailer ATMOS unite with PUMA on their latest collaboration project – working on PUMA’s technical 80s runner, the Disc Blaze.

The Disc Blaze silhouette was at the forefront of innovation during the sneaker boom in the late 80’s early 90s. With its’ advanced ‘Trinomic’ cushioning technology, and revolutionary Disc System, the Disc Blaze has become one of the most influential sneaker designs of its’ time.

For Spring ’15 PUMA have called upon Japanese retailer ATMOS to add their interpretation on this iconic silhouette. Drawing inspiration from the solar system (the sun and moon in particular), ATMOS present the Disc Blaze ‘The Sun & The Moon’. The silhouette is made up of a predominantly black upper comprised smooth nubuck and neoprene materials. Both matte rubber and translucent plastic purple accents have been applied to the Disc Blaze cage brackets featured on both the medial and lateral panels. The purple accents contine on the tongue pull-tab and inner lining. Contrasting against this is the additional orange accents featured on the Disc mechanism, footbed and  PUMA branding on the heel. The midsole is a blend of black with ‘glow in the dark’ paint swirls refrencing the moons surface. More glow in the dark details are added on the outsole which also features a translucent window of Trinomic Cushioning system.

The Nike Classic Cortez is a pioneer on the track since 1972, it revolutionised the running through the innovative thinking of track coach Bill Bowerman.

Following an well received collection in 2014, adidas Originals revive their SPEZIAL line once again for a highly anticipated SS15 capsule collection.

In 2013, Gary Aspden curated an exhibition in London titled ‘SPEZIAL’ which celebrated the brand and showcased prized collection from some of adidas’ most passionate fans. Following the success adidas & SPEZIAL came up with a capsule collection which consisted of footwear & apparel,  inspired from the archive. This year see’s the second collection…

The first sneaker is the Waterproof SPEZIAL which is a re-issue of an iconic waterproof shoe. Featuring a Gore-Tex membrane, Gusset tongue construction, leather upper, ghillie lacing, Dillinger web on EVA midsole. Seen in a Granite & White colourway this sneaker will get you through the tough wet weathers ahead. The second sneaker is the Albrecht SPEZIAL which is the one-to-one reissure of the 80’s adidas Sevilla sneaker. Featuring a full leather upper with vulcanized tooling seen in a Streedwood and Gums colourway, giving the shoe a classic and premium look. The last sneaker featured in this collection is the Chetcuti SPEZIAL which is a re-issue of the classic Granada sneaker. The upper is constructed with full nubuck, leather lining, sitting on a classic PU outsole. The Chetcuti SPEZIAL is seen in a Hemp and Clay colourway.
