Longstanding Italian sporting label Diadora teams up with Berlin-based footwear retailers Solbox to present the N.9000 ‘Ferro’.

Taking inspiration from the gondolas of Venice, this N.9000 sneaker is made up off a combination of greys and light blue on the upper, using a mix of suede, kangaroo leather and ballistic mesh for a premium feel. The blue is seen on the tongue, laces and middle part of the sneaker while ”Ferro” which translates to grey and is found along the tongue and hints throughout the shoe. Solebox branding can be found on the heel which is kept very subtle and Diadora on the tongue. The lining has a repeating Solebox pattern with ”Made in Italy” tab on the inside of the tongue which gives the shoe the premium stamp.

Nike set to release the second colourway in Kobe Bryant’s lastest signature shoe dubbed the Kobe X ‘Blackout’.

The Nike Kobe X blends three essential performance elements: Hybrid Cushioning | Advanced Traction System | Seamless Textile Upper. The Kobe X hybrid cushioning combines the Nike Lunarlon with Nike Free-inspired siping to enhance natural movement. The new Zoom Air unit can also be seen the heel. The midsole and outsole is encapsulated in a translucent rubber casing allowing the inner technology to be showcased.

This latest colourway dubbed ‘Blackout’ takes inspiration from Bryant’s legendary workout routine. The predominantly purple upper is a nod to Bryant’s dedication in playing for the Los Angeles Lakers for 19 years. Contrast black accents feature on the Nike Swoosh seen on both the medial and lateral panels, followed with Kobe’s signature branding embroidered in purple on the tongue. Further branding can be found on the translucent outsole.

Le Coq Sportif and Argentinian artist Jazmin Berakha work together to bring this unique collaboration.

Jazmin Berakha has used the Eclat and the R950 as the canvases for this collaboration. The collaboration is colourful and playfull with both uppers being made up of jacquard fabrics, which ties in with Berakha’s expertise in sophisticated embroidery. Geometric shapes in pink, black and white cover the Eclat, whilst yellow & red are used in the R950. Finishing touches include black leather branding on the side walls, black lining, tongue and a clean white midsole for contrast.

Bordeaux based store Le Rayon Frais celebrate the stores’ fifth year anniversary in style on a collaboration with Le Coq Sportif, reinterpreting the Eclat sneaker.

Le Rayon Frais is based in the heart of Bordeaux, France on Rue Saint James. Their latest collaboration project with Le Coq Sportif celebrates there location. The Eclat ‘Saint James’ beats to the rhythm of the city of Bordeaux, whose classic architecture has recently had a makeover.

The Raw Grey suede upper is a nod to Bordeaux’s Rock n Roll image in the ’80s. Thsi is contrasted with a cream midsole, and hits of Navy on the heel counter. Additional details such as the perforated toe-box, side panels and the debossed Le Coq Sportif logo add dimension to the colourway. The details continu on to the footbed which features a customised map of Le Rayon Frais’s neighbourhood. The red dot on the map signifies the stores’ exact location. This map detail is also visible on the translucent outsole. 

Finally the mixed white and greay rope laces add contrast with Le Rayon Frais branded lace tips.

Reebok and the ‘Certified Network’ celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Reebok Ventilator silhouette and next up is Japanese footwear retail staple mita Sneakers.

mita Sneakers dresses this vault runner in two rich tones of blue pig suede throughout the whole sneaker, a darker navy starts from the heel of the sneaker the gradually gets lighter towards the toe, giving the shoe a subltle but premium look. Complete with a white midsole to break up the tonal upper, embossed branding is found on each tongue.

Reebok and the ‘Certified Network’ celebrates the 25th Anniversary of the Reebok Ventilator silhouette and first up is New York natives Extra Butter. 

Halal carts have been a NYC staple for quick eats, and Extra Butter has taken inspiration from the street meat for their latest collaboration on the Reebok Ventilator. The colourway nods to various ingredients that can make up a Halal food plate, including; lamb, chicken, falafel, yellow rice and the red & white sauces. The upper is made up of supple sude all over with the mesh detailing found on the outer and inner sidewalls. The sneaker comes complete with two lace options which resembles the Red and White sauces that traditionally accompanies the cuisine.

adidas Originals partner up with Japanese label NEIGHBORHOOD on their latest collection for S/S ’15.

Fusing NEIGHBORHOOD’s casual aesthetic with the sportwear heritage from adidas Originals, results a collection paying homage to the adidas archive paired with Neighborhood’s eye for detail.

The collection is comprised of apparel and footwear combining characteristics from both brands. From NEIGHBORHOOD’s Skeleton graphic, to adidas’ 3-stripe details seen throughout. The use of bold graphics seen throughout the collection make each garment stand out. The  Mountain Parka – a two toned outer garment features 3-stripe details reminiscent of a vinatge adidas jersey created in West Germany in the ’80s. The white Wind Jacket brings the collection to current streetwear today with a large dual-branded graphic on the back, with the rest of the pieces complementing each other.

For footwear NEIGHBORHOOD highlight a vintage model popular with die-hard fans of adidas. They dress the Boston Super OG in an all black upper using smooth nubuck and nylon for texture. A Sawtooth graphic runs along the midsole in white, with dual branded details on the tongue and heel. The Campus 80s is updated with this Mid version of the silhouette, coming in Grey nubuck with black 3-Stripe details on the medial and lateral panels, and brand logos in white. Next up is the clean ZX500 OG with its’ all White suede and leather upper with hits of grey on the heel clip and midsole. adidas & NEIGHBORHOOD take it a step further updating the adilette slide range with premium leather foot band. ASICS presents an exciting premium edition of the Gel Lyte III.

Constructed from Okayama denim imported from Japan. This particular pair features a stitched denim with tonal contrast in a camouflage effect dressed in a Dark Grey and White colour scheme. The overlays are constructed in a dark grey leather which breaks up the imported Japanese denim. The second sneaker is featured in an all black upper and sole unit with the Japanese denim on the tongue for contrast.

For Spring 2015, Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons has teamed up once again with adidas Originals to reinterpret the classic Stan Smith silhouette.

The range consists of the Original White & Green, Red and Charcoal iterations. The Stan Smith sneaker features a premium leather upper, with each sneaker comes equipped with a rubber outsole, white adidas branding and perforated ‘R’ in place of the traditional Three Stripes.
