This Tinker Hatfield sneaker which evolved from a cross-training staple into a classic retro silhouette gets a new make-up.

This Air Trainer Huarache is seen in a Cool Blue leather upper with black suede overlays to the toe, lace & heel surround with white accents on the base of the shoe. The sneaker is sat on a white midsole and is finished with branding on the heel, Nike branding on the strap and the Huarache tongue patch.

Continuing the fruitful partnership that has spanned several seasons, Parisian-based BWGH (Brooklyn We Go Hard) again pairs with PUMA to reinterpret a few favored silhouettes.

Continuing the re-approached sportswear aesthetic of the previous collection, the SS15 range sees BWGH founder David Obadia and Nelson Hasson employ a sophisticated material and colour palette, amalgamating contemporary and classic elements across a collection of PUMA footwear. Once again reworking the Trinomic line’s R698 and XT2 silhouettes. Working with BWGH inspired slimmer cuts, premium leathers, soft nubucks and plush jerseys, the duo capture both the athletically functional design of PUMA sportswear and fashion-forward sharpness of BWGH.

The BWGH x PUMA SS’15 Collection is released in-store & online on Saturday 31st January. Sizes range from UK6 – UK12 (not including half sizes throughout the collection), prices range from £120 – £125.

Jordan Brand has officially revealed their highly anticipated Air Jordan 2 Retro designed by Just Don.

The Italian-made retro features a royal blue upper of supple quilted leather complimented by matching suede panelling, metallic gold branding to the heel and custom co-branded quilted leather insoles. Each pair comes with a printed dust bag, red & gold special box and two branded Jordan pins.

Last week saw the release of our second collaboration with New Balance UK on the M1500FPK ‘Encyclopaedia’

Ahead of the lauch on Saturday morning we invited a small selection of press and faithful customers to a ‘special’ preview at Library, St.Martin’s Lane – the location for our original shoot. Also in attendance were Andy Okolowicz (New Balance Flimby’s Factory Manager), Chris Hodgson (NB Flimby Development Manager) and Tom Henshaw (Marketing Manager for New Balance EMEA). The event provided the opportunity to explain the process behind our latest collaboration both creatively and technically, and to celebrate the fruition of the project itself.

Using the Encyclopaedia Britannica as inspiration for this shoe was apt as it represents a long-standing British heritage as well as a great source of knowledge – both traits that are shared by the UK arm of New Balance. This was evident from Andy and Chris’ detailed explanations of the history of the 1500 silhouette, the particularities of the M1500FPK, and the extensice catalogue of previous collaborations produced by Flimby.

PUMA presents this Blaze of Glory as part of the ‘Crackle’ Pack.

Made up of a grey mesh upper with tonal suede overlays to the sidewalls, toe and heel surround with black overlays to the toe and sidewalls. The shoe is sat on a white midsole which includes their Trinomic cushioning and is finished with elasticated inserts around the ankle to give the shoe a sock-like fit, tonal laces and pink heel pull and branding is found on the tongue and heel.

Two Converse classic’s gets a premium tooling updated with a minimal contemporary palette and modern detailing. 

Converse releases the All Star Chuck ’70s Hi & Ox in premium materials giving this classic a new make-over. The upper on both sneakers are updated from the usual canvas associated with a Chuck Taylor, the Ox appearing in a smooth white leather and the Hi appearing in black with tonal stitching, a leather toe-cap replacing the umber one, an all white sole unit and updated monochromatic foxing and monochrome license plate on the heel, accented with tan waxed laces for a premium aesthetic. 

The Converse 1970s Chuck Taylor All Star Hi Leather Black/White & Ox Egret/Tan is available now in-store & online. Sizes range from UK6 – UK11 (not including half sizes). The Ox priced at £80 and the Hi priced at £85.

Nike return with another colourway in their Air Huarache silhouette – this time for the ladies with the release of the WMNS Air Huarache Run White/Clearwater/Flash Lime.

We are presented with a predominantly white upper seen on the mesh lined toe-box and leather panel overlays. The outer panel of the neoprene sock features a punchy Flash Lime colour which is accented with a Clearwater Blue colour on the inner lining, heel and side panel details. The rubber Nike Huarache emblem stands out on the tongue in black, mathcing the heel support strap. Nike have switched out the common flat lace with oval white laces which enhances the look of the model.

One of the lesser-known models in the Nike’s colossal archieve of air-cushioned runners gets a new make-over.

The Air Safari is brought kicking and screaming into 2015 with an all white & black colourway sporting perforated detailing. The sneakers crisp upper is complemented by a highly cushioned gum sole giving the shoe a clean and sleek look.

For their original 2005 Superstar, Union presented a bold luxe statement with a purple leather upper and snakeskin accents.

For their 10th Anniversary Consortium Superstar takes a more subtle approach to deliver an equally outstanding sneaker. Using brown suede for the upper, the colour is continued in the Superstar’s well-known rubber toebox. A blue leather heel-tab and white leather lining add character whilst a single line of zig-zag embroidery boldy traverses the Three-Stripes. Further detailing is found in Consortium lace aglets, a suede footbed with 10th Anniversary branding and ‘Union Los Angeles’ embossed in silver towards the rear of the shoe.

Las Vegas sneaker boutique FEATURE has teamed up with Saucony and for its upcoming 2nd ”Barney” G9 Control.

Continuing from the theme of the first collaboration this shoe cues from a familiar object in Las Vegas: casino chips. With this shoe being $500 chip-inspired, the name ‘Barney’ is what the $500 chip is called in gambling terms. Sporting a similar palette seen on the chip, the model incorporates a plush suede upper in vibrant Purple accented with black suede overlats. Lighter shades of purple are further applied on the medial, 3M heel panel and inner lining, while all resting atop a white midsole with speckles throughout.
