Making the upper have a serpent-like appearance, the upper is styled in Challenge Red KRM that forms compression molded TPU triangles mimicking the viper’s vibrant pointy scales with Premium Challenge Red leather on the heel & collar with a scaly snake-inspired pattern & tonal stitching. To finish off the look is the black midsole & chrome inlays.

Continuing with their 10^th anniversary, Canadian retailers Wings + Horns team up with New Balance to rework the classic MT580.

Taking in consideration the runners technical silhouette, the Vancouver-based retailer have applied a premium makeover adding mesh & synthetics for a plush suede underlay & grain leather overlays. All materials work harmoniously with tonal branding to the tongue and blacked-out laceset. Finishing off this silhouette is the dual coloured midsole and fresh white outsole added a touch of contrast.

Jordan Brand presents the Jordan 4Lab1 a fusion of two different silhouettes into one.

The Air Jordan 4Lab1 feautures design elements of the Air Jordan IV on the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette. The infamous lightweight netting found on the Air Jordan IV is applied to the entire Air Jordan 1 upper, along with the iconic & recognizeable Air Jordan 1 Wings logo & Nike Swoosh. The black, silver & white upper is sitting on a clean white midsole along with a translucent outsole to create an eye-catching yet subtle mix.

After successful launches in previous retro releases, Jordan Brand drop their latest colourway in the Air Jordan 11 Retro White/Legend Blue.

Originally released back in ’96, the Air Jordan 11 is highly regarded as one of the best silhouettes to come out of the Jordan series. This latest retro release consists of a full white upper made up of patent and smooth leather materials with a ballistic mesh tongue. Jordan branding feature throughout the shoe on the lateral heel, tongue, footbed and outsole in the Legend Blue colourway. Finallu the translucent blue outsole completes the look to the crisp styled shoe.

Jason Markk collaborates with Sanrio’s iconic Hello Kitty brand, which celebrates its 40^th anniversary this year.

Our friends at Jason Markk work with Sanrio a global lifestyle brand best known for pop icon Hello Kitty, who celebrates it’s 40^th anniversary this year. The exterior of the miniture sneaker box packaging was kept minimal with a clean white embossed retro Hello Kitty in soft touch. The interior of the kit is lined with a playful custom all-over Hello Kitty print. The kit contains a co-branded Hello Kitty and Jason Markk 4oz and a Premium Brush. The dark walnut wood handle of the brush is laser-etched with ‘Jason Markk + Hello Kitty’.

Veil and PUMA work on a special collaborative project working on the Blaze of Glory silhouette for Winter ’14.

The upper to this Blaze of Glory is a unique floral-patterned upper accompanied by a speckled midsole. Coming complete with waxed cotton laces, black suede detailing on the mudguard and a nice touch of reflective 3M on the toebox. Bright red accents are found on the midsole & lining for contrast.

New brand at Footpatrol – Amsterdam based footwear brand Filling Pieces present their Winter ’14 Collection.

Founded in 2009 by Architect student Guillaume, Filling Pieces emerged on to the scene with one aim, to fill the void in the market between streetwear and high-fashion footwear. Guillaume’s first silhouette the Low Top features clean, contoured panelling applied with high quality materials. Available in store are two variations of the Low Top silhouette – the nubuck Low Top Caviar Mustard and the nucbuck Perforated Low Top. The Low Top Caviar consists of mustard colured nubuck upper with Caviar embossed panels surrounding the shoe. Tonal coloured leather lining complements the premium sneaker. Filling Pieces branding features in debossed form on the tongue and on the footbed. The Low Top Perforated featues a full tonal coloured upper with square cut perforations surrounding the silhouette complete with a vulcanised rubber cup sole. All shoes are handmade in Portugal.

Barcelona’s LimitEDitions has teamed up with ASICS Lifestyle to co-create a Gel-Lyte V inspired by the famous Salvador Dali painting ‘’La persistencia de la memoria’’.

LimitEDitions takes an iconic artist, Dali: as their source of inspiration for their latest collaboration with ASICS. The Barcelona retailers took their cue from Dali to honour the 25^th year of his death & to celebrate the stores 10-year anniversary. The upper is made up of premium nubuck, soft suede leather & textured velour panels. The Catalonian sky and sea from the painting is reflected in splashes of bright white & blue seen on the sole, which is balanced out by vibrant orange that plays homage to Cadaque’s classic stone referenced in the painting. For additional comfort, the sockliner is made of goat leather – chosen because 2015 is the year of the goat. In a node to Dali’s playful use of insects, a fly is symbolically embroidered on the tongue of one shoe, while an ant is feautured on the other.
