We see two new colourways in the heavilty sought after Running Support 93’s, with its fushed mesh & synthetic upper. The two colourway is a Black with Light Solid Grey and the second colourway feautures a St Tent Green & St Cargo Khaki upper. Finished off with lacelocks & bungee type laces.

Barbour & adidas Originals work together to bring this special collaboration.

This season Barbour has collaborated with sportswear & premium footwear brand adidas Originals on a limited edition of highly covetable clothing & footwear. The collection offers a wide choice of design, look & feel combining sportswear with functionality.

The inspiration from the collaboration reflect the heritage of both brands from Barbour’s country & military influences to sportswear, the heardland of adidas Originals.

The collection includes the TS Runners that is a classic adidas outdoor shoe redesigned feauturing a waxed cotton tongue & aged tan upper leather. The Columbia feautures a red nubuck leather upper & The ZX555 is a mixture of mesh & premium suede in a charcoal colourway.

Footpatrol is proud to announce our second collaboration with ASICS, on the GEL Kayano Trainer.

First released in 1993 the ASICS GEL Kayano Trainer, named for its designer — who is still a vital part of the ASICS design team — was seen as a shoe that started one of the most successful lines in the history of running shoes. It utilized the tech of the day — skeletal logo stripes for support, visible THETA GEL in the heel and porous P-GEL in the forefoot. The upper was mesh with Coolmax reinforced by synthetic suede. We wanted to take this specialized model and bring it up to date, while still echoing it’s original technical features.

We took our name ‘Footpatrol’, and its meaning as a starting point, looking at what might be carried while on Foot Patrol. We found inspiration from army surplus equipment, including rucksacks and technical packs, which utilized features such as nylon strapping, waterproofing and molded materials. Typically produced in colours such as dark olive, black & khaki, a colour palatte, which also suited the timing of the release.

Although we wanted to create a premium version, using more luxurious materials, we still wanted to keep some technical features, experimenting for the first time with durable water resistant suede…

adidas Originals Consortium presents Quote’s Archive – a collaboration project bringing two dedicated adidas collectors with in-depth knowledge and passion for classic adidas footwear.

Rewind back to 2005 where online forums were the only source of information for limited releases and a hub for the sneaker community – Freelance illustrator Peter O’Toole and reknowned adidas collector Quote became aware of each other through Crooked Tongues online forum.

O’Toole brought both his passions (adidas footwear & illustrations) together with the release of his ‘City Series’ prints. This consisted of illustratiing almost 200 vintage adidas trainers in the form of two posters. Quote and O’Toole finally collaborated together on his third poster release which included 98 pairs selected by Quote from his very own collection. It wasn’t long before both were approached by adidas to develop the project further into a limited edition book…

The two enthusiasts worked together on the book across Berlin, Germany and the UK without ever meeting in person until after the project was complete. Upon the project drawing to a close adidas had one more surprise for the pair and rewarded them both with a dream-come-true moment, a chance to visit the adidas archive in Herzogenaurch & an opportunity to design a shoe to accompany their book.

The choice of model was the ZX 420 – a shoe both designers were enticed by. The adidas Denver silhouette is said to have been the source of inspiration for the ZX 420 Quotoole’s ‘vintage’ colourway. Together they worked on shoe collaborating entirely online. The end result is a shoe that is rich in heritage in both design and colouring giving that ‘vintage’ styling that adidas collectors love. The upper features soft pale blue suede with dark blue mesh on the toe-box and purple mesh on the medial and lateral panels. Pops of magenta feature on the inner lining and heel details with the vintage cream midsole giving that classic ’80s Runner’ feel. Other details include an illustration of both designers Quote & O’Toole featured on the ‘Endorsed By’ fabric label under the tongue and a motif sock liner graphic utilising Quote’s fist logo and O’Toole’s typographic namesake.

Since moving into the footwear industry in 2009, Canadian lifestyle brand Ransom Holding Co. have curated a collection of unique silhouettes forming a great capsule collection.

The Ransom Alta Mid is a  contemporary moccasin-inspired mid boot with minimal details. The upper consits of premium suede with tonal stitch details seen on the toe-box. Tonal coloured rope laces are added keeping in line with the minimal theme sitting atop a runner inspired EVA injection outsole with rubber inlays providnig traction. Ransom branding features as a debossed logo on the outer lateral heel, and printed on the insole.

adidas Originals release two new colourways of a sneaker perfect for the winter weathers.

Taking inspiration from the Torsion Trail runners of the past, this sneaker draws from the looks of retro alpine boots for its sleek upper & rugged vibe. The uppers are made up of a mixture of suede & leather uppers including PrimaLoft insulation material for superior warmth & water resistance. The upper is sitting on a grippy rubber outsole which delivers traction in the harsh winter conditions.

Jordan Brand concentrate on their latest model the Air Jordan Future updating in a Midnight Navy colourway.

Jordan Brand’s popular new silhouette the Air Jordan Future features its’ latest update – consisting of a Midnight Navy and White flecked textile woven upper with metallic gold accents featured on the embroidered tongue label, and lace tips. The shoe sits on a clean, white midsole/outsole reminiscent to the sole unit used on the Air Jordan XI with carbon fiber plates situated at the heel. Further details on the outsole inclued the translucent panels seen at the fore-foot and heel.

The iconic silhouette gets a make-over in-time for Winter ’14.

Stussy & Timberland have teamed up once again to release another collaborative project.

The latest project is a new take on the iconic 6-Inch boot offered in a black or wheat colourway. The boot feautures an all leather upper with zippers on the side giving the iconic boot a fresh update. To finish off the look is the distinctive white cuff & sole unit.

Long time collaborative partners, designer Nigel Cabourn and Converse team up once more for Winter ’14 on the 1970s Chuck Taylor Ox Elmwood Camo.

Cabourn’s latest offering with Converse features his classic Elmwood Camouflage print seen on many of his outerwear garments, applied on to the 1970’s edition of the Chuck Taylor Ox. The olive coloured stitching delicatly complements the silhouette along with the tonal coloured laces. Bright red accents can be seen along the piping detail on the midsole, inner lining and the Converse licence plate heel. Dual branding features on the footbed and on the back of the tongue. A spare set of Beige and Red laces are also supplied in the box housed inside a cotton dust bag.
