After seeing the release of the Air Command Force OG subtle color pops are added on this latest make-up.

A shoe that made its mark on the hardwood floors of the NBA, it has been a focal point for Nike’s latest string of retros. Set for a winter ’14 release the new Air Command Force is seen in a predominately Black upper with hints of Wolf grey seen on the Swoosh & midsole. Hyper Jade & Hyper Pink are added on the tongue and outsole for contrast which is sure to unite both old and new fans of the iconic Nike silhouette.

Vans premier tiered line Vault by Vans presents their second capsule collection with designer/artist Taka Hayashi for Winter ’14.

Hayashi puts his highly spin on two classic Vans silhouettes – the Era & SK8-Hi. For the second capsule collection Hayashi draws inspiration from intricate crafting techniques featured on the timeless piece of footwear that is the Huarache sandal. Taka Hayashi excutes this very well by incorporating fine deatils on to both silhouettes completing the collection. Both silhouettes come in two colour options – Bordo & Mustang. The TH Era & SK8 Huarache LX Bordo features a tumbled leather upper accented with wool panels throughout. Laser etched detaills feature on the toe and heel complete with a set of rawhide & cotton laces. The Mustang version features a soft pig skin suede upper complemented by Italian woven textiles surround the mid-foot area. The metal eyelets add to the Huarache inspired aesthetic. Dual branding features on the heel of the leather footbed, sitting on an off-white midsole.

Following up from their recent collaboration on the Tennis Classic, Nike & Hiroshi Fujiwara of Fragment Design reunite once more on the Roshe LD1000 SP.

This latest effort from Nike and Fragment sees a mash-up of two silhouettes resulting in this new hybrid model. The upper features Nike vintage runner upper the LD1000. Donned in a striking Obsidian Blue colour with mesh material on the medial & lateral panels, with Obsidian suede overlays on the toe, mid-foot and heel. The Nike swoosh comes in soft white leather accenting the shoe accordingly. Continuing with its’ vintage aesthetic is the open sponge tongue featuring Nike Vintage branding on the tonguel label. The midsole comes from one of Nike’s most favoured new silhouettes the Roshe Natural Motion. Dual branded logos feature on the footbed, with Nike branding on the leather heel. with additional details such as the tool code information seen on the lateral side of the midsole.

The Nike Dunk CMFT PRM gets a new make-up for Winter ’14.

As you can see from the name The Nike Dunk CMFT PRM is a retooled silhouette that offers unprecedented comfort. With a molded Ortholite sock liner-7mm thick inside a slimmer last, reducing bulk to highlight only what’s essential. To add extra comfort the Zoom Air unit is added in the heel.

This Dunk CMFT PRM has also been reimagined. The upper is constructed in distressed black leather upper, with the shoe being wrapped in reptile-inspired overlays, mimicking a crocodile wrangler’s tonal, leather-clad outfit. Stitching along the reflective toe box and a bone-tinted dubrey reflects the jagged controus of a crocodile piercing teeth & powerful bite. To finish the look is a metallic Swoosh cuts across the medial & lateral sides of the design.

Dual celebrations are at hand with adidas this winter.

The first celebration is the ZX 8000 turning 25, the German company will also be commemorating 25 years of the historical fall of the Berlin Wall that unified East & West Berlin. Each shoe has been named after three military checkpoints: Alpha, Bravo & Charlie.

Each pair is made in Germany at the last remaining sneaker production facility in the country, each shoe feautures a premium suede & leather upper build. Checkpoint Alpha is seen in a black & grey colourway, a salmon pink, yellow & blue colourway represents Checpoint Bravo & lastly, a white and black colourway represents Checkpoint Charlie.

Sitting alongside this weeks collaboration release with Hiroshi Fujiwara is Nike’s Roshe LD1000 SP Varsity Maize & Varsity Royal.

Nike fuse together two silhouettes from their heritage archive silhouette the LD1000 and recent new silhouette the Roshe NM resulting in a new hybrid model the Roshe LD1000 SP. The upper combines a Varisty Royal/Varsity Maize mesh upper with Royal suede overlays. A leather Nike swoosh is applied on the medial and lateral panels in a striking Maize/Orange colour. Continuing with its’ vintage aesthetic is the open sponge tongue featuring Nike Vintage branding on the tonguel label. The midsole comes from one of Nike’s most favoured new silhouettes the Roshe Natural Motion. Nike’s vintage branding features on the footbed, with the Nike pinwheel logo on the leather heel.

Asics brings out a new colourway of the Gel Lyte III.

This latest addition to the Gel Lyte III family is made up of  a predominantly Estate Blue upper using a mixture of nubuck & mesh to the toebox & side walls. What makes this Gel Lyte III special is the Glow in the Dark ASICS branding found on the sidewalls along with Glow in the Dark stars found on the ankle & heel. This upper is sitting on a white midsole which is split in the mid-section by a subtle grey block panel with dark grey outsole.

adidas Originals resurrect a gem from the archive with the re-release of the Stockholm.

Following similar design hues as the adidas Bern & Rouge, this 80’s silhouette features the Swedish flag colours – a plush Satellite Blue suede upper with Sunshine Yellow overlays on the side panels and heel. Tonal coloured laces accent this classic model with the dark gum outsole providing addition contrast. Additional details include the repeat graphic of the adidas Originals logo features on the footbed with the model name ‘Stockholm’ debossed in metallic gold on the medial side panel.

Gourmet releases some new footwear perfect for the cold weather ahead.

Designed with trail footwear in mind, the Gourmet Corridore comes with a mixture of ballistic nylon, neoprene & suede upper. Coming in two different colourways a Black & White and a Charcoal & Vegtan. Both uppers are sitting on a speckled white midsole with a black outsole.

New to Footpatrol this Winter is Italian luxury footwear brand Diemme.

With 20 years experience in the Hunting & Mountaineering sectors, they apply this rich knowledge to their current A/W ’14 collection. All Diemme footwear is made at their Calzaturificio Diemme factory in Montebelluna making their attention to detail second to none.

This sesason’s collection sees a variety of silhouettes from Diemme using the highest quality materials. The Tweed Collection features high quality felt wool fabric from Tuscan supplier Lanificio Bigagli. The Veneto ALto & Veneto Due silhouettes also use suede from UK tannery Charles F Stead & Co. A clean white rubber sole produced in Marche, Italy is used adding contrast with fine details such as the Italian flag embroidered on the heel panel, and embossed branding on the footbed.

The Marostica silhouette, heavily inspired by hiking footwear with its’ D-Ring lace system features a Velour Suede upper made from Italian tannery Malaigia Pellami. Nubuck and Napa leather details also fetaure throughout. Cow leather is added on the inner lining for increased comfort. Taking cues from hiking silhouettes is the gusseted leather tongue featuring a vegetable latex padding which will keep water from permeating the top of the shoe. Again a white rubber Serena outsole is used for longevity.

The Roccia Vet silhouette sits in Diemme’s Hunting collection. This boot has been modified with lighter more comfprtable soles for use in the city. With varoius adaptations of the silhouette available, the leather version uses full grain leather from Italian tannery Conceria Emmedue. This full grain leather upper addes strength whilst allowing for breathability of the foot which other leathers such as leather splits or corrected leathers could not acheive. Thus meaning one the initial wear the leather may feel stiff and will need breaking in but will get softer over time. Other details include a gusseted tongue, D-Ring lace system and additional padding around the ankle for comfort. A Vibram rubber outsole is used making the shoe lighter whilst adding durability and better traction. This silhouette also comes in a Tweed version featuring Felt Wool from Tuscan supplier Lanificio Bigagli and a black Vibram outsole.
