With the school season in full swing Nike drop this latest edition of the Boys Dunk High Premium ‘Back to School’.

Nike Dunk High Premium ‘Back To School’ is designed to resemble a marble notebook with allover graphics that stand out in bold detail. The upper is made up off full-grain leather upper with all-over graphic for unique style & comfort. A Cup-Sole is added for durability and maximum comfort. To finish this look is the tonal black laces, swoosh & black toe box with perforated detailing. Other details feature on the woven tongue label which includes a sketch graphic of a house. The sketched graphics continue on the footbed with an illustration of an American School bus drawn on to testbook style lined paper.

Japanese retailer Atmos are next up in the ‘Certified Network’ celebrating the 25th Anniversary of Reebok’s Basketball silhouette with their interpretation of the Reebok PUMP OG.

Atmos tie their latest design on the PUMP OG from their Instapump Fury release earlier in the year. Continuing on the Atmos PUMP OG dubbed the ‘Bring Back’ pays homage to the subtle colours used on the original shoe. The upper is made up of a black stretch Nylon material with subtle grey and orange accents seen on the tongue, release valve heel and side panels. White & soft grey colours are used on the midsole with the black outsole adding contrast the silhouette. Atmos have added some technical details to the inner lining wihich features PlayDry materials. This is mostly used in athletic apparel and is a moistuure wicking material.

The Safari print meets the Nike Air Huarache Light.

Nike has released two new colourway of the Nike Air Huarache Light. The first is an all black upper with a mixture of breathable black mesh and Nike’s signature safari pattern throughout the mudguard, uniting a cult Nike design with a cult silhouette. Hints of Dark Concord are seen on the tongue branding, Swoosh, heel tab & outsole. The next Nike Air Huarache Light is sporting a tonal colourway in Deep Burgundy. Like the Black & Dark Concord, this Deep Burgundy uses the same mesh base, suede trim at the toe & heel, and a synthetic Safari-infused mudguard that features an eye-catching sheen. Hints of discreet navy is seen at the Swoosh, Huarache tongue patch and fabric heel loop. Both sneakers sit on a clean white midsole.

The Air Jordan 13 Retro returns in a brand new reflective colourway.

This Air Jordan 13 has reflective material on the quilted & toe contrast with black suede on the heel & black leather on the tongue. Hints of Infrared is seen on the outsolde & the Jumpman logo on the tongue. This Air Jordan 13 is seen with the original hologram inspired by the Black Panther eye. This upper is sitting on a clean black midsole.

Jordan Brand continue with another colourway of the Air Jordan Future for Summer ’14.

The Air Jordan Future has seen several colourways since it’s first release date, now; the Future receives a minimal but effective treatment. The one-piece woven upper receives an all Iron Green colourway and it’s sitting on clean white mid-sole & out-sole. The Jumpman branding and the lace tips is seen in gold to finish off the futuristic look.

Apparel & Footwear retailer Social Status are next up in the ‘Certified Network’ celebrating the 25^th Anniversary of Reebok’s Basketball silhouette with their interpretation of the Reebok PUMP OG.

Inspired by South America & the Caribbean and the basket weaving technique that is found in those regions. Giving off a woven upper aesthetic, the deep embossed ginger leather is also reminiscent of patterns often used by luxury fashion houses. Tonal pigskin lining, perforated leather collar & vamp, which are then juxtaposed by a gum outsole & waxed laces. Translucent mono-mesh is found on the quarter allowing glimpse of the Pump bladder as the finishing touches.

Streetwear boutique Capsule, Toronto come together with New Balance paying homage to the cliche double denim outfit otherwise known as the ‘Canadian Tuxedo’.

The term ‘Candian Tuxedo’ has a little story behind it. The moniker was created when American singer & renowned denim lover Bing Crosby was refused entry in a Canadian Hotel in Vancouver for wearing a denim jacket and jeans. A large denim manufacturer heard word that Crosby was refused entry and made sure this was never to happen again, and so they created a one-off denim tuxedo jacket just for him.

Capsule have applied this to the NB MT580 silhouette right down to the finest details of the denim tuxedo jacket. The shoe fetaures a full light blue denim upper with darker denim accents on the tongue and heel. A red denim New Balance logo sits on the medial & lateral panels. A tan leather label replaces the standard woven tongue label with debossed New Balance branding. The white midsole adds contrast to the shoe with the gum outsole and Blue & White flecked laces adding the fine details to the make-up.

PUMA teams up with Kasina, to add a touch of sophistication to the classic Disc Lux. The latest release for New Balance’s ‘Made In USA’ line is an update of the 990 silhouettes, the M990HL.

Made up of a mixture of soft suede & textured mesh giving the shoe a premium look. The colourway is a tonal grey upper which is matched with a black New Balance ‘N’ branding on the side-walls. The upper is sitting on a clean white midsole to match the laces, tongue branding and lining. Hints of red are added on the mid-sole to give it that extra pop.
