Japanese label Whiz Limited and sneaker retailer Mita Sneakers come together on a unique collaboration with PUMA to create their take on the XT2+ silhouette.

Whiz Limited & Mita Sneakers are one of Japan’s most reputable retailers with numerous critically acclaimed collaborative projects to their name. Their lastest collaboration on the PUMA XT2+ combines the use of mesh, leather and premium suede on the upper. Navy premium suede is used on the upper overlay with a red & blue gradient mesh on the underlay. Bright blue leather is seen on the PUMA formstripe logo on the side panels. The predominantly whte midosle features pop accents in red, blue & yellow sitting on a black outsole. Three-way branding fetaures on the red footbed printed in yellow.

The canvas upper was very lightweight & durable compared to the leather version, giving the KO a casual yet classic look & feel. The New BalanceP740 was endorsed & worn by James Worthy – later, which was released to the masses in the classic black/white/grey colourway. Those who watched the home games in which James player on the home court of Los Angeles’ Great Western Forum can definitely identify this silhouette as it was the unreleased ‘player exclusive’ colourway of the New Balance P740. Sporting a classic white & purple leather make-up, this version has never seen daylight out of the home games played in the Great Western forum until now. The second colourway is a classic black & white colourway.

Raf Simons & adidas work together again to bring the Bounce ‘Camo’.

The adidas Bounce’s upper is given black leather trim with a camo print base beneath and that sets the overall tone for this luxurious runner. A very subtle 3M three stripes branding on the heel tab combined with a red outsole under the bounce coils finishes things off.

Having seen an influx of different colourways this year, the classic colourway is back. Originally released back in 1991, the 2014 retro stays true to form. ALIFE Sessions started back in 2012 as a private session in the courtyard of the Alife New York store. With the third installment on their four part collaboration series, Distinct Life & Reebok work on another GL 6000. Following the Navy & Olive colourway Distinct Life & Reebok now present the black colourway in the same premium material make-up. This GL 6000 features a black ballistic nylon mesh upper with embossed black leather overlays with cream stripes on the side panels.
