The Nike Air Safari makes a comeback for Summer ’14 in three tonal colourways.

This latest rendition of the Air Safari comes in three tonal colourways – Bamboo, Midnight Navy & Gym Red. Sporting a suede upper with mesh accents on the toe-box and around the collar. Safari print is added on the side panels with a leather Nike Swoosh sitting on the lateral side panel only. The two-toned midsole adds contrast to the silhouette sitting atop the tonal and black outsole with Safari print details.

Nike quietly release a marble inspired Blazer Mid Premium QS for Summer ’14.

After releasing an onslaught of colourways, the Nike Blazer Mid had taken a back seat for the majority of 2014 that is until now. Nike set to release the Blazer Mid PRM QS. The uppper consists of a black & white marble inspired mesh combined together with a white leather Nike Swoosh, heel panel & tongue label. Embroidered Nike branding can be seen on the tongue and heel sitting on a vulcanized white outsole.

The Nike Blazer Mid PRM QS ‘Marble Mesh’ is available now in-store & online. Sizes range from UK5.5 – UK12 (UK5.5 is the only half size) priced at £90.

Jordan brand release a vibrant edition of the Jordan 6 Retro paying tribute to Spike Lee’s ’40 Acres and A Mule’ production company.

This latest release of the Jordan 6 Retro lends its’ colourway from the OG Jordan Spiz’ike colourway with its’ Varsity Red textured leather upper, not forgetting the Classic Green & Black accents featured on the rubber heel tab and neoprene tongue. The inner lining graphic is taken from the Air Jordan XX (which was created the same time as the OG Jordan Spiz’ike was designed). The design continues with an all white midsole and translucent clear outsole.

adidas Originals makes a new installment in the ZX Legacy for Summer ’14.

The latest installment from adidas Originals features a ZX Flux 2.0 seen in an all-tonal Onix/Tech Grey colourway. The no-fuss approach colourway sees the whole upper kept tonal throughout as this pack focuses on the texture & materials. Featuring a organic mesh at the front of the shoe, synthetic nubuck over the side panels which frame the cut-out 3-Stripes. A synthetic heel patch & tonal laces are the finishing touches. This tonal upper is sitting on a clean white midsole.

The adidas Originals ZX Flux 2.0 Onix/Tech Grey is now available in-store & online. Sizes range from UK4 â€“ UK12 (inc. half sizes), priced at £70.

Packer Shoes step back in time reminiscing about the ‘good old days’ in their latest collaboration with Saucony on the Grid 9000 ‘Snow Beach’.

Drawing inspiration from the classic 90’s Polo Ralph Lauren ‘Snow Beach’ pullover worn by Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon in the ‘Can It Be All So Simple’ video, Packer Shoes pick Saucony’s Grid 9000 silhouette to add their reinterpretation on. The upper is comprised of a yellow canvas on the toe-box, side panels and heel, with a yellow neoprene tongue. Navy coloured premium suede is fetaured on the upper overlay. The inner lining is made up of a bright red fleece-like material with further branding details in red also. An embriodered woven label of the American flag is featured on the left heel, and the Saucony model number ‘9000’ on the right. The dual branded logo on the footbed resembles the ‘Snow Beach’ logo in red and blue. The black lace toggles (refrencing the pullover’s adjustable waistband) shows that Packer Shoes didn’t hold back on the details! Finally the shoes are supplied with a spare set of white laces housed in a custom designed dual branded box.

The NBA’s 2014 Most Valuable Player Kevin Durant drops the latest edition of his signature shoe with Nike the KD VII ‘Calm Before The Storm’.

His seventh signature shoe the KD VII ’Calm Before The Storm’ combines both performance and inspiration from the forces of nature. Durant and Nike designer Leo Change began a lengthy 18-month process in creating the shoe we see today. The KD VII is designed to provide forefoot flexibility and stability. Materials include seamless forefoot mesh, flyknit technology along with encapsulated Nike Zoom at the front of the shoe. Other details include the grey mid-foot strap and a newly developed visible Nike Zoom Air bag.

The KD VII meets the needs of the reigning MVP’s needs with quickness, power & unpredictability; this colourway portrays the darkness that comes before the storm hits. The ‘Calm Before The Storm’ features a predominantly grey upper with a darker grey to add contrast on the mid-foot strap & liner. Accents of pink are found on the tongue & toe-box branding & the outer sole.

Keeping the bond strong Boston retailer Bodega and Saucony unite once more on the latest collaboration together dubbed the ‘Polka Dot’ Pack.

Working on the Grid 9000 and G9 Shadow 6 models, Bodega apply a mix of print and materials on their latest release. The Grid 9000 silhouette features a predominantly navy nylon upper with white polka dots. Navy suede accents feature on the toe-box wrap, medial and lateral panels with a contrast tan suede heel. Olive accents continue on the neoprene sock liner and laces (an additional tan coloured set of laces are included). Finally the shoe sits atop a tan midsole/outsole with the navy polka dot graphic situated towards the midsole heel.

The G9 Shadow 6 is a hybrid model featuring a Shadow 6000 upper welded onto a Grid 9000 sole unit. This silhouette is comprised of a full green and purple nylon polka dot upper with additional accents. Black & purple polka dot details can be seen on the side panels with black suede featured at the forefoot of the shoe. Pops of magenta suede feature on the Saucony branding on the side panels and on the heel. The Grid 9000 midsole features an Arrow graphic in off-white on the heel mixed with tonal tan towards the front.

Raf Simmons & adidas are back again with a new collaborative project.

To celebrate the return of the Stan Smith Originals model, Raf Simons presents their take on this classic. Sticking to the clean aesthetic of the Stan Smith, Raf Simons kept the design at minimal, white with red heel tab & an all over orange on orange. The perforated three stripe branding is replaced by an enlarged perforated R & comprises a Raf Simons debossed logo on the heel.

Nike release three models in special make-ups perfect for the summer weather.

The Nike Solarsoft Moccasin is a breathable, lightweight sneaker which has an engineered mesh upper, crafted seamless Nike Hyperfuse technology. The sole is an ample underfoot cushioning enhanced by an encapsulated air-sole heel unit & a non-marking rubber outsole.

The second model is the popular Nike Benassi which has been a popular choice of footwear for the summer. Featuring  a one-piece padded strap with a large classic Nike logo & finishing the look off is a cushioned midsole adorned with Nike branding.

The last model is a Nike Solarsoft ZigZag, a model which people may not be familiar with. The Solarsoft Zigzag has crossover straps along the midfoot and a removable strap on the heel for support. Finished off with a cushioned midsole for maximum comfort. 

All three styles are paired together with an eccentric pattern which is seen in different colour variations.

The World Basketball Festival is back in the month of August, celebrating the passion for the game and to commemorate the festival Nike release a ‘special edition’ Lunar Force 1.

This year the WBF is being held in the ‘Windy City’ otherwise known as Chicago – with its’ rich heritage in basketball legends, courts & professional players, it made for the perfect place to hold the festival. To honour the WBF the iconic basketball silhouette that is Air Force 1 Nike have created a special edition of their newest hybrid the Lunar Force 1. The upper mimics the texture found on a basketball in Team Orange leather sitting atop a white Lunarlon midsole and translucent blue outsole. Loyal Blue accents feature on the inner lining and tounge backing, with Nike branding featured on the woven tongue label, heel and outsole.
