The Air Max Light gets a breathable upper, perfect for the summer months.

Nike have updated the Air Max Light WR as tape is used to seal & put the shoe together. The ‘WR’ stands for water resistant, as the upper is a mixture of nylon & mesh. The first colourway has an anthracite construction while hyper jade & fuchsia force contrast on the branding & toe-box. The second colourway is an ‘Iron Green’ rendition, with a mix of earthy tones, volt & light ash grey is seen on the accents & midsole.

The Nike Air Max Light WR Fuchsia Force/Hyper Jade & Iron Green is now available in-store & online. Sizes range UK5.5 – UK12 (inc. half sizes), priced at £105.

2014 is the year of the Instapump Fury OG – celebrating their 20th year anniversary of the infamous 1994 runner Reebok pay homage to the Instapump Fury OG.

The Instapump Fury OG was once considered ‘ahead of its time’ in terms of design and construction thanks to the a full air bladder with their PUMP technology on the upper was a first in the footwear industry.  Today we pay homage to the silhouette with the release of the Footpatrol edition of the Reebok Instapump Fury OG.

The Air Bladder features a two-toned assymetric design with a combination of premium materials including hariy suede, pigskin leather and perforated suede. Subtle hints of flat grey are added with additonal touches of 3M reflective material on the tongue & heel pull-tab.

The dual-branded Footpatrol Gasmask x Reebok PUMP logo sits proud on the heel and footbed finished off on a white midsole with translucent grey, solid black and white outsole.

Jordan Brand introduces the ‘Wolf Grey’ colourway to the Air Jordan 14.

Combining dual shades of grey on the upper, the Air Jordan 14 ‘Wolf Grey’ is the latest addition to the Jordan family. The sneaker feautures perforated tumbled leather & synthetic overlays are set in a lighter tone of grey, while the darker wolf grey is seen on the tongue & the iconic midsole. A hint of Sport blue adds subtle detailing across the layout, while a black carbon is added on the midsole with a clean white outsole.

Jordan Brand release a second colourway in their new model the Air Jordan Shine.

Known as the most expensive Jumpman silhouette to date (at retail price), the Air Jordan Shine aims to please the premium sneaker connoissuer with the use of high quality materials. Featuring a smooth red leather upper with woven detailing along the side panels wrapping around the heel and reaching the fore foot. This monotone model sits on a black midsole with a slightly translucent red outsole which has similar resemblence to the Air Jordan 1 outsole. A debossed Jumpman logo features on the tongue, sitting below are the waxed cord laces with textured metal lace tips.

adidas Originals launch their in-line collection of the Edberg ’86 featuring this latest coloured inspired by the colours used in the Wimbledon Tennis tournament.

After a lengthy hiatus the Edberg ’86 makes a return for 2014. Originally worn by tennis player Stefan Edberg – the silhouette looks great both on and off court. adidas have gone for dark colourway featuring a Power Purple suede upper with a leather tongue & inner lining. Further leather details can be seen on the three-stripes featured on the side panels and heel. A green woven tongue label is added for contrast. Metal eyelets are added with the fourth eyelet coloured in white matching the white midsole. Finally the shoe is finished off with a light and dark grey outsole.

New Balance reissue the OG colourway of their most popular silhouette the M577ANN & M577ANG Edition.

The New Balance M577 celebrates its 25th anniversary this year – originally released in 1989, this runner is re-released in all its’ OG glory for 2014. The M577ANN is comprised of a navy suede upper with mesh underlays. Premium leather is used on the ‘N’ logo, heel and inner lining with 3M reflective accents at the fore-foot. The grey heel clip sits above the ‘vintage’ treated midsole with the black outsole completing the look. Housed in a white NB box the shoes complete with a spare set of navy laces and a branded dust bag. 

The M577ANG colourway features a grey suede upper with a grey/blue mesh underlay. 3M reflective accents feature at the fore-foot and heel with navy accents around the collar and heel. A spare set of navy laces are included along with a white New Balance branded dust bag.

Marc McNairy is back again for another collaboration with adidas Originals.

Inspired by Classic Outdoor Sports, McNairy & adidas Originals brings out the third collaboration to date. The first model is the Monte Carlo Mid 84-Lab, which is seen in a predominantly Running White premium leather upper with hints of Green on the famous three stripes, heel tab & tongue branding. The collaboration branding is seen o the tongue & sock liner. The Monte Carlo Mid 84-Lab is sitting on an off white/light bone midsole.

The second model is two colourways of the Stan Smith Mid 84-Lab, inspired by classic American work boots. The first pair is sporting a smooth aniline leather upper seen in a Fox Red colourway. The second pair is seen in a Ash/Grey premium suede upper with a darker shade of grey leather found on the lining. Collaboration branding is seen on the shoe tongue & sock liner on both sneakers, both sitting on a Cream White mid sole. Unique details are added such as the left shoe has ‘Sky’ on the heel tab while the right shoe has ‘High’.

The third model is a ZXZ 930 is presented in a gold mesh upper with green suede overlays from the toebox & sidewalls with purple leather tongue & heel panel. The shoe is sat on a gold midsole with a mesh accent to the accent to the forefoot and blue suede three stripes branding to the sidewalls.

Next up under Reebok’s Certified Network is Japanese retailer United Arrows (Beauty & Youth) putting their spin on the Instapump Fury OG.

United Arrows (Beauty & Youth) have taken a more subtle approch to this silhouette combining shades of grey with white and off-white accents. Dark Grey suede covers most of the upper with an off-white suede panel at the toe-box. Further white accents feature on the PUMP Bladder underlay, heel and innier lining. Leather metallic silver hits are added on the toe-box and tongue & heel pull-tabs. The shoe  sits atop a white midsole with a touch of light grey featured on the midsole heel, fininshed off on a black outsole.

Nike release another sleek colourway in Lebron James signature model the Nike Lebron 11 Low.

In its’ eleventh edition, the Nike Lebron 11 Low represents the evolution of the signature shoe from the basketball player. This latest releases sees a more toned down colourway from Nike which could equally be worn both on and off court. The shoe starts with a black hyperfuse upper with a large Nike Swoosh featuring on the lateral side of the toe-box. The tonal features continues throughout the shoe on the plastic heel cup, midsole and full-length Max Air unit. The Nike Lebron branding is visible on the tongue outsole, footbed & heel where Lebron’s signature sits. Contrast accents are added on the inner lining featuring a mash of the Hyper Crimson and Hyper Cobalt colours, sitting alongside the contrast gum outsole.

The Nike Air Flight Huarache OG makes a re-appearance in all its’ retro glory for 2014.

Conceptualized by none other than Tinker Hatfield and co-designed by Eric Avar, the Nike Air Flight Huarache revolutionised both indoor and outdoor basketball courts with its’ debut back in ’92. The shoe was like no other featuring a leather upper with an exo-skeleton, water-skiing inspired bootie. The Air Flight Huarache had sneaker enthusiasts in a frenzy. After releasing a Free outsole rendition a couple of years back, Nike re-release the Air Flight Huarache in all its’ retro glory. The Lyon Blue and Bold Berry accents still feature throughout with the rubber Huarache logo sitting strong on the tongue.
