Inspired by spring nights and walks in the dark, Ubiq & Asics brings us a collaborative project in time for the summer.

Using a classic runner silhouette, the ASICS Gel Lyte V. Ubiq & ASICS uses a mixture of premium materials to create the ‘light & dark’ theme of the shoe. The upper consists of soft suede, premium nubuck, nylons & neoprene inner sleeve to provide that comfortable fit. The navy nubuck mimic’s dark night skies while the white suede and nylon act as the moon. Sitting on a soft pink midsole representing the new blooms, which is held by an earthy brown heel panel. The ‘Midnight Blossom’ comes with navy, cream and yellow laces to match the upper.

Jordan Brand continue with another colourway of the Air Jordan Future for Summer ’14.

The Air Jordan Future has seen several colourways since it’s first release date, now, the Future receives a minimal but effective treatment. The one-piece woven upper and the air outsole is Wolf Grey colourway, with a white midsole, gold Jumpman branding and lace tips to finish off the futuristic look.

The Air Jordan Future ‘Wolf Grey’ is now available in-store (SOLD OUT ONLINE). Sizes range from UK6 – UK13 (including select half sizes) priced at £125.

The Nike Air Tech Challenge Huarache gets a new make-up for Summer ’14.

This remastered version of the Nike Air Tech Challenge 2, with durable synthetic leather, textile upper & and an Air-Sole unit for cushioning and impact protection receives a Black and Turbo Green treatment. The upper consist of a black base, turbo green underlays, red accents on the outsole & lining. The heel counter design & speckled sole keep the Agassi aesthetic on this retro rendition.

The Nike Air Tech Challenge Huarache ‘Black/Turbo Green’ is available now in-store (available online next week). Sizes range from UK7-UK11 (no half sizes), priced at £90.

The second drop from US streetwear brand Undefeated Summer ’14 collection arrives in-store at Footpatrol.

This collection consists of a range of crew sweats & hoods featuring UNDFTD’s classic 5-Strike logo and Arc Type logo. Within this collection UNDFTD include their ‘Collegiate Crew’, a cotton sweat featuring all over American Football graphic print. Intricate details such as the embroidered ‘U’ logo feature just above the cuff of the left arm.

The UNDFTD Summer ’14 Collection Drop 2 is available now in-store (coming soon online). The 5-Strike Hood priced at £85, the Arc Logo Crew at £70 & the Collegiate Crew priced at £65.

Vault by Vans & Stussy celebrate their rich heritage with a new collection for Spring/Summer ’14.

As a tribute to their roots in skate and fashion, this collaboration sees three Vans Original Classics silhouettes with Stüssy prints not seen since the 80’s and 90’s. First drawn by Shawn Stüssy in 1986, the ‘Tom Tom’ pattern reappears on the side panels of the Vans OG Style 36 LX, with soft suede on the toe & the tongue & neon green overlays to finish off the new wave inspired look.

The second installment to this collaboration sees an OG Era LX, with the whole upper covered including the toe piece & the mid-foot in the Stüssy Bones print, which first debuted in 1988. Contrasting the all-over print is a light blue leather panel on the heel & lining to finish off the OG Era LX.

Lastly, one of Vans most iconic silhouette the OG Sk8-Hi LX meets Stüssy’s most celebrated pattern the 8 Ball print. Introduced in 1991, the 8 Ball print has been seen on various Stüssy products but now it sees the side panels of the OG Sk8-Hi LX. With the classic Black & White colourway, checkered laces & red leather side stripe detailing to finish of the shoe.

The Vault by Vans x Stussy Summer ’14 Collection is available now in-store and through mail order. Sizes range from UK5 – UK12 including select half sizes (UK8.5 and UK9.5 are the only half sizes). The OG Style 36 LX is priced at £62, the OG Era LX at £65 and the OG SK8-Hi LX priced at £70.

The Air Trainer 1 PRM QS ‘Paid in Full’ features a predominantly black leather upper with gold accents featuring throughout. The American $1 bill graphic features on the upper overlays around the toebox, heel and velcro strap, whilst gold details are printed on the velcro strap, heel and Nike branding on the tongue. The midsole consists of a translucent base with gold flecks and thread details. The shoe comes complete with a set of black laces and dollar graphic laces.

Nike introduce the Free OG sole unit to their popular Flyknit Chukka silhouette.

This updated version of the Flyknit Chukka is able to remain lightweight due to the inclusion of the Nike Free OG sole unit. Nike Free is designed to allow the foot to move more freely and naturally. The Free midsole features deep sipes, flex grooves & diagonal cuts through the arch for a barefoot-like feel. This combined with the Flyknit upper makes for an ultra-lightweight fit.

This Summer ’14 make-up features a mix of black, pure platinum and drak grey hues sitting on a white Free OG sole unit. Nike Flyknit branding features on the tongue label, with additional touches such as the 3M reflective thread woven into the laces add style whilst increasing visibility at night.

Nike head across the waters on the latest release of their on-going City Pack series, dropping these Shanghai editions of the Lunarfly 306 QS & Air Footscape Woven Motion QS.

A new model to the NIke roster, the Lunarfly 306 QS – this sock inspired model combines light grey mesh and hyperfuse material on the upper, whilst the vivid pink underlay pops beneath the mesh. Pink accents continue on the inner lining also. A large black strap wraps across the midfoot with debossed ‘China’ branding on top. Additional details include the large 3M reflective swoosh placed on the toe-box and light green midsole.

A favourite amongst sneakerheads worldwide, Nike re-invent the Air Footscape Woven Motion with this latest ‘Shanghai’ edition. This make-up features a black perforated leather and synthetic leather upper with 3M reflective stitch details giving the silhouette its’ unique look. The iridescent heel panel adds character to the otherwise muted colourway, finished off on a light green midsole/outsole.

Applying 3M reflective materials on socks that produce a strobe like effect when it meets light.
