Penny Hardway joins a prestigious collection of basketball hierarchy, as Nike reveal the Nike Lil’ Penny Posite.
The rugged silhouette mimics previous Nike models such as the Foamposite and Zoom Rookie, features a black and red colourway noticeably with the inclusion of laser etched graphics throughout. With blends of matt and gloss panelling, as well as white/black mix lacing, the Nike Lil’ Penny Posite is eclectic to say the least.
The Nike Lil’ Penny Posite is due to release Saturday 7th February both in store and online. Sizes range from UKXX – UKXX (Incl. Half Sizes), priced at £XXX.
With the Huarache steamrolling 2013, with releases of high quality colour ways coming thick and fast, Nike release this limited edition Air Trainer Huarache PRM QS “NYC Speckle”.
The upper is dominated by a grey faux Nubuck fabric featuring black speckles varying in size throughout mimicking that of the concrete it is influenced by. The shoe’s velcro strap also features this same colour way, whilst Nike branding features in thick black. A glow in the dark sole contrasts the upper’s tone nicely, with the volt colour pop featuring not only across the outsole and again on the shoe’s heel branding.

Following up from last year’s release, Nike set to release a Floral make-up of Kevin Durant’s NSW silhouette, the KD VI EXT QS.
The KD VI EXT QS is updated with a entire embroidered Floral upper with black accents used on the D-Ring lacing system, and both Nike & KD branding. Black details continue on the inner lining and laces, with contrast playing part on the white midsole and transclucent outsole. The silhouette maintains it’s well received midsole cushioning – featuring visable Max Air in the heel offering maximum impact protection on hard landings. The sole is also made of NIke’s Zoom unit in the forefoot with a Phylon midsole sitting atop.

With adidas’ Stan Smith silhouette dominating 2014 so far, the tennis classic prepares to get re-appropriated by some of the biggest names in streetwear, as Hong Kong’s CLOT lead the way.
The upper is wrapped with a premium black nubuck, as gold hits cover the shoe’s heel panel and tongue. A gold CLOT logo features on the heel’s medial side, whilst the regal touches are completed with the appearance of select golden eyelets. The traditional white midsole remains, with the heel tab being transformed, like the majority of the shoe. Full all over print CLOT branding appears on the insole.

Creating a shoe with a really strong concept is something that isn’t always easy to achieve. There tend to be some stretched
justifications in terms of colour ways or uses of fabrics but this BAIT “CruelWorld” Shadow Original doesn’t stray into that territory.
This Saucony Shadow original model see’s LA’s BAIT implement a friendly mix of fabrics that make up a vegan upper comprising of all natural materials. Vegan suede overlays, alongside a cork insole and hemp accents help to construct this eco-friendly model, with vegan-glue utilised and animal byproducts, banished. With BAIT’s ‘CruelWorld’ ethos running further though, a portion of all sales will be donated to the A Place Called Home care centre in Los Angeles.

With 2014 marked as the year of the Horse, Nike celebrate the Chinese festivities with the release of the Air Force 1 Comfort PRM QS.
This make-up is comprised of a mixed Wolf Grey Nubuck upper at the forefront of the shoe with synthetic Pony Hair wrapped around the side panels and heel. Red accents feature on the embroidered tongue label and heel. Multi-coloured stitching is added on the black midsole matching the laces, finished off with a translucent outsole.

This ’91 runner makes a re-appearance for 2014 in the OG ‘Persian Violet’ colourway.
The Nike Air Classic ‘Big Window’ originally made its’ debut in the Black/Persion Violet colourway back in 1991. This chunky runner features a synthetic Nubuck upper with white leather trim which wraps around the shoe. Persian Violet accents are seen on the Nylon mesh tongue, Nike Swoosh, lining and heel collar. Air Max branding is emblazoned on the heel and outsole, with a clear visible Air Max unit.

The second of adidas Consortium series of collaborations, focused around the legendary Stan Smith, sees Mastermind JAPAN’s take on the aforementioned silhouette.
The all black design maintains Masterminds monochromatic aesthetic as a fully perforated leather upper adheres to the Stan Smith’s simple design qualities, whilst gentle Mastermind branding is worked into the traditional adidas tongue branding. A white midsole with black stitch detail, aside from white lacing, completes the premium model.

PUMA add two classic silhouettes that is the Stepper and Suede to their Premium Machts Mit Qualitat line.
The Stepper and Suede silhouettes have been give the ‘premium’ treatment! The Stepper features a tonal upper using a combination of soft leather and hairy suede. The tonal debossed PUMA Stepper logo sits comfortably on the later side panel with further MMQ branding featuring on the debossed leather tongue tab. The PUMA Cat heel logo is the only pop of colour seen on the outside of the shoe, with another pop used on the insole.
The Suede follows suit with a tonal coloured upper dressed predominantly in hairy suede with the PUMA branding on the tongue and formstripe on the side panels detailed in leather. The outsole comes in an off-white hue with speckled details.

Nike re-introduce their Country Camo design series with this Desert Camo Air Max 1 MC SP.
The Air Max 1 MC SP “Desert Camo” is the latest Nike model to get the military inspired camouflage print draped across it. This model features the U.S Desert Camo design throughout. A heavy canvas upper offers a more rugged take on the classic Air Max 1 style, with a taped seam also featuring, in stark contrast. Nike SP branding features throughout, as well as tonal midsole and lacing finished off with an embroidered US flag featured on the insoles.
