Setting the tone for 2014, Jordan Brand kick of this years’ Retro Air Jordan 3 release with this Powder Blue edition.

This “Powder Blue” Air Jordan 3 Retro is the brand’s introduction into 2014. Continuing on from a flurry of 2013 releases, the popular Jordan 3 Retro style gets a burst of blue as a premium suede upper dominates proceedings. Familiar features – including elephant print across heel and toe panel – remain in black, as well as eyelets, tongue and lacing also featuring, in the same colour. A stitched Jumpman logo features on the shoe’s tongue also features.

The Air Jordan 3 Retro ‘Powder Blue’ is available now both in-store and through mail order. Adult sizes range from UK7 – UK12 (Including half sizes), priced at £135. GS sizes range from UK3 – UK6 (UK5.5 the only half size available), priced at £95.

The Dutch artist carries his strong illustrative style as he continues to produce this range of vibrant tees. The tees include heavy graphic prints, focusing mainly upon Parra’s range of characters. Staple tee shirts are coupled with accessories such as sticker packs and key rings, all maintaining the much-revered Parra style.

With Camouflage print dominating a wide selection of their 2013 releases, Nike continue their Country Camo pack series with this Desert Camo Air Max 90 Sneakerboot MC SP.

The Air Max 90 Sneakerboot MC SP is the latest Nike model to get the military inspired camouflage print draped across it. This model features the U.S Desert Camo design throughout. A Hyperfuse upper offers a slightly slimmer style than the classic Air Max 90 style, whilst the neoprene internal boot keeps things snug. A tight mesh structure fills out the toe and mid side panels, alongside a canvas patch adorning the Nike Air branding.

Following a highly successful ‘Phantom Lagoon‘ release last year, BAIT, the California based retailer, hits us with the first of their latest range of ASICS styles, the “Basics Model-001 Vanquish”.

The ‘Vanquish is the first of the BASICS programme drop, featuring a custom jacquard camouflage upper, heavily. The popular Gel Lyte III model also comes with jet black overlays, with suede framing, gold and red accents also feature throughout, notably across the shoe’s heel branding and outsole respectivly.

Continuing their use of technical design within this construction of a rugged winter boot, Nike Sportswear introduce the Metallic Grey and Silver Quick Strike versions of their new Lunarterra Arktos silhouette.

Featuring the same use of Stetson leather as the Black and Olive versions of the shoe, these overlays provide weather protection integrated with lighteweight Hyperfuse construction. Flywire cables harness the foot providing a glove-like fit. A nickled plated zipper has been added to the medial side panel for easy access both in and out of the shoe, whilst the gusseted tongue keeps out unwanted debris. The rugged TPU toe and heel is inspired by Goth diamonds. The outsole is made upper of multi-directional rubber lugs combined with sticky rubber adding traction to the sole. Hard rubber features on the heel and toe of the outsole providing sturdiness. The Lunarterra Arktos SP TZ comes available in two colourways Metallic Grey & Silver. A tonal coloured mesh dust bag is included in the box with embroidered Nike Sportswear branding.

With 2014 tipped as the ‘Year of the Tennis shoe’ adidas re-introduce their famous tennis silhouette the Stan Smith under the premier tier Consortium line.

After a short production hiatus the Stan Smith makes a welcomed return. To celebrate its’ return adidas release this unisex ‘limited edition’ four pack under their Consortium line. The four pack features the Stan Smith silhouette dressed in four leather styles: Cracked | Phoenix Aniline | Reptile | Ostrich. each shoe features the same sleek shape, perforated 3-Stripes, soft leather green heel tab and the ‘Endorsed by Stan Smith’ printed logo on the tongue. The footbed features the repeat Consortium logo pattern. The shoes come housed in a white and fairway green coloured Consortium branded box.

To co celebrate the re-release of the Stan Smith, adidas have created this limited edition Stan Smith watch. This time piece pays homage to the silhouettes colourway featuring the iconic white and fairway green face within a stainless steel case. Additional details include the tennis scoring system written on the inner bezel, the classic Trefoil logo and Stan Smith’s signature. The package is completed with two additonal watch straps and an adjustment tool. Only 500 sets have been made available worldwide, with just two being available to purchase in-store at Footpatrol.

Early 90’s runner, the XT2, is the the most notably luxurious XT2 to date. Ditching 90s neoprene, the model features a subtle mix of tones throughout an uppe,r comprising mostly of a leather and suede mix. A cracked leather heel panel features beneath a transparent plastic cover, with tonal stitching throughout continuing the silhouette’s premium hit.

Aside from the XT2 though, is also the brand’s leather Disc Cage “Cork” pack. Inspired by Brazil, much like many of the major sneaker brands this [World Cup] year, the Disc Blaze is certainly a divider of tastes. The perforated Nubuck leather upper, neoprene collar and PUMA Disc closure system bring a premium touch to the classic style. The eye catching cork overlays bring the shoe’s point of difference though, with weather resistant qualities, adding a new dimension to the style.

Agassi is a name that rings true to those in the know regarding tennis. With the American tennis star reigning victorious in four Australian Open Grand Slams from 1995 to 2003, he has earn the right to be noted in the same breath as the sport’s higherarchy.

Agassi’s signature model, the Air Tech Challenge II, comes fitted with a fully leather upper. White leather dominates, with vivid blue and solar orange strips of the same high quality material wrapping around the model. A splatter effect appears across the blue portion of the upper, as the same baby blue colour continues onto the midsole. Figures “95.00.01.05” and “1036” appear across the tongue and heel, representing the year’s the American won his Australian Open titles and his total amount of career wins, respectively.

Continuing their ‘Death List 5’ collaborative effort with running footwear masters ASICS, Extra Butter introduce this “California Mountain Snake” Gel Epirus.

This predominantly white and black Gel Epirus notably features a leather and mesh upper, with snakeskin print across the shoe’s branding along the medial panel. Red highlights in form of the heel cup, eyelets and tongue, as well as a Paramedic emblem featuring on the heel, referencing Elle Driver or the shoe’s namesake, as she is also known.

With Bait gathering pace on producing some highly sought after releases, from the Phantom Lagoon in 2013 to this year’s pace setter, and initial drop of the BASICS pack, the Model-002 “Guardian” is followed up by the “Model-002 Guardian”.

An eye catching and original tight mesh, plates over a familiar camouflage upper. A coarse overlay takes an olive tone, as the branding features in black. A deep orange features across the midsole, select eyelets and branding, with a deposed Gel Lyte iii on the heel and black laces.
